Seriously? No one figured out where this came from? Anyway, nice :)

Author's Response: LOL  I know, I was surprised too.  It's so obvious what this was based on but no one spoke up about it and it was an open discussion type of class, so who knows!  LOL  Anyway, thank you for the review!  I greatly appreciate it!

Lovely job threeholepunch! As you may have guessed, I'm a huge fan of poetry and I think this conveys so clearly Pam's feelings in a nutshell. I especially liked this stanza

“You’re really going to marry him.”
It wasn’t a curious inquiry.
He just knew; he was my best friend.

And of course, the last one as well. Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you for your thoughts!  Like I've said before, I'm not much of a poet, but this poem in particular would just not leave me alone until I wrote it.  LOL  I'm so glad that this got such a good reception from such an amazingly talented bunch of writers.  Thanks again for reviewing!  :)

I'm always really impressed when someone here even attempts poetry - it's such a hard thing to do well...and this is lovely. This line was especially good: With his lips on mine, there was no I can't. Thanks for sharing this.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm not a huge writer of poetry, but this would not let me live happily until I wrote it, so here it is. :) Thanks again for reviewing!

When I read it aloud, I was surprised no one caught on what this was based on.  Are you kidding me?  Your classmates must live under a rock!  Very inventive interpretation of our favorite (non)couple.

Author's Response: I know, I couldn't believe it either!  After I read it aloud, I even paused and waited for someone to say, "Hey... that sounds an awful lot like it's based on 'The Office.'"  But there was just silence.  LOL  Anyway, thank you for your review!  :)  I worked hard on this and knowing people enjoyed it really pays off.  Thank you!

I have such a soft spot for poetry, and this was written so well...it's so simple and emotional.

So I kissed him back with everything I had in me
And he deepened the kiss, his hands on my back
We fit together like the final piece of a large jigsaw puzzle

Just beautiful. :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much!  I don't usually write poetry, just because I've never really liked the outcome of when I write stuff like this, but that kiss from Casino Night just kills me and inspired this (quite obviously, LOL).  Thank you for your review!  I appreciate your thoughts!

I love poetry and this is very beautiful.  I can tell you put a lot of thought into writing this, it's very detailed and vivid.

This part is my favorite:

He tasted of spearmint Lifesavers
And smelled of something uniquely male
The most intoxicating mixture of senses

Really, really nice! :)

Author's Response:

Mmm... Jim tasting like spearmint Lifesavers.  Who could pass that up?  LOL  Anyway, thank you so much for the review!  I'm glad you liked it.  Thanks again!  I really appreciate it!  :)

This was lovely. Nice job! Hope you got a good grade on this.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the comments!  Yep, I think I got an A.  My professor loved it, and I'm glad you liked it, too!  Thanks again!  :)

that was great! I read it as if I was in your class...but I definitely knew what it was based on!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review!  :)  The fact that no one in my class knew what this was based on still baffles me.  LOL  Thank you once again for your comments!
