I'm very happy with the way this chapter played out. Question: are Jim's 12 tasks meant to mirror Pam's twelve days of Christmas gifts?

*le sigh*  I'm sitting in my office swooning.  This can't be a good thing for my impending work day. LOL  Thank you for a lovely, romantic chapter.  You make killer endings, that just leave my heart in my throat.  *sigh*  Wish Jims existed...

Wow. I really liked this chapter, Moxie. It's rife with realism.

Now, the question is, is "The Twelve Labors Of Jim Halpert" going to be a separate story, or attached to this one???

Go Jim!  So glad he went with his instincts on this one.  I was waiting for that kiss with bated breath.  I love that the natural playfulness they have with each other wasn't hindered by their nervousness of the situation at hand.  Awesome job, Moxie, as usual.  You so totally rock!

Aw, Moxie! I can't put my finger on it, but something about this chapter really touched me. I'm actually crying as I type this! Thank you!

What an excellent surprise after along day!
Such a cute chapter. I just love Pam's plans for Jim to atone for his wrongdoing.
And I especially love that because they each know how the other feels, they have a slight bit of confidence, yet are still on shaky ground and are nervous.
Am seriously going to be sad when this is over. Love it. What an amazing epic you've created here!

"You're just being mean now, Beesly."

Yeah, she is. I think she's carrying a grudge she shouldn't, and Jim should totally call her on it. But that's just me.

I love the way you continue to give us such a good look inside Jim's head with this series. My favorite parts were when he was trying to figure out what to wear (hey, maybe he should get some advice from Kelly? :D) and at the end, when he went with his instincts and kissed Pam.

This. Is. So. Awesome.

Much as I loved the last few chapters, I was kind of unsettled when the revelation and subsequent discussion happened online. At the time, I thought that that conversation really needed to be face-to-face. But this chapter's convinced me that that was the right way to swing it. This fic has a light tone to it, like the show, and a drunken confrontation would have been out of place.

And I love the idea that Jim is Hercules making reparations! Usually, at this point in a fic you can expect the rest to be kind of a montage of sappy, simple love - the equivalent of running through a field of daisies in slow motion. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, it just lacks substance, especially plotwise.) But, you've just had the big reveal, and now you're picking up the plot again with an idea that could easily carry an entire fic on its own! It's like two awesome fics in one!

Also, the reparations are a nice middle ground for Pam - she's not completely letting this go like a doormat, but she's also not harping on it, or using it as a stupid excuse to keep them apart. The way she's handling this could actually end up making their relationship stronger.

(Hopefully) Con Crit: I've just read "Distance Learning," and while I liked it, I kind of thought there was a problem with pacing. When Jim and Pam finally get together, they spend chapter after chapter agonizing about how they're about to be separated, and how incredibly much it sucks to be so far apart. It was almost a little humorous to see them agonizing about how little time they have over the course of their impromptu seven-day weekend spent together. I guess what I'm saying is, keep the plot moving; don't spend to long on one period of time or... it's just kind of less special to see them go on romantic dates when there's a bunch of them in a row, you know?

Sorry this was so long, I'm just really excited about this fic, and I'm in literary-analysis mode.

Thanks a lot. Now I'm going to be sitting in American Politics tomorrow and all I'll be able to think about is the next time you'll update this story. I seriously love this so so much. Amazing job on this chapter (as usual)!

This chapter ending put a huge smile across my face.  Awesome thing to find right before I go to sleep - hopefully will produce fabulously cute Jammy dreams.

The chat room reaction should be great.  Can't wait!  More more more!

Awww.....It was so sweet how they both took extra care with their appearance that morning.  And lisahoo rocks for that pic of Jim in the pimp tie.  I think he looks great!

And smooching too from InControl!Jim....what a treat you gave us tonight, Moxie!  Can't wait for more..

JUST LOVE. I ADORE the list of things he has to do. Somehow I think that the most "embarrassing" one - coming clean on the internet is going to be the most endearing and romantic. I can't wait to see how he pulls these things off!

I do love some Take!Charge!Jim coming through with the smoochage!  Definitely the kind of date you kiss after!  And I am very interested to see the reaction of the IRC folks.  Love, love, love.

SQUEE!  This was fabulous:

"I'm pretty sure that request stands in defiance of the Geneva Convention."

Bwah ha ha!  And this?

"Yes, looking back I can see that in those particular circumstances, swaying was dancing."

Perfect.

But I have to disagree about the sonnet.  Jim should have to write a villanelle.  Way more challenging.  Make the boy pay!  ;)

Pam sure drives a hard bargain.  But, I know that Jim won't mind doing everything when he knows what the reward is.  Thanks for giving us that kiss!  We needed just a little taste for now.

Oh, Pam, just forgive him and enjoy being in love!  (That's what I'd do!)

There's a typo in the following, but this sequence is so cute:

"Ah, so you're a dork, too."

"I must be." Her unspoken by clearly implied I'm sitting here with you, aren't I? made Jim laugh.

Hooray for more Squirrel.  I'm so glad Jim kissed her at the end!

But now I'm really hungry for a cheese omelette.  Darn it!

WOW.  I thought the excitement might die down a little once Pam found out...but no.  You manage to make it even better.  That kiss gave me chills...chills!  Amazingly good.  And Pam's punishment is perfect.  Please say you are going to keep writing through those.  Maybe???  Cannot wait to see what you come up with next.

I'm glad he kissed her, but Pam's tasks are ridiculous, the man just told you he was in love with you and that he went as far as making up an alternate persona just to talk to you because he missed you! If I were Pam I would have jumped his bones five minutes into the breakfast, well then again if I was pam I would have jumped his bones during the pilot.
