Heehee the first letter was so adorable (and such a girl thing to write! lol). Oooh interesting twist that Jim has to write letters back...but knowing that Marsha will read them makes it just a bit creepy. Haha! Can't wait to find out what Jim does. =)

Oooh I think this letter is my favorite one so far. It so perfectly captures how I think Pam really felt last season -- with Karen being so likable and why did it have to be her and the dreaming of weddings and getting married... Goodnight Jim. You're still my best friend. And I love you. Awww! So sweet! =)

LOL she called Pam? What a little stalker! Haha I love it. Oh no, Pam threw away the post-it? That's sad, I hope she gets it back if Marsha ever decides to return the letters. These letters are getting more and more personal...I really like hearing Pam's thoughts, they're probably really close to what she was actually feeling last season. *sigh*

Aww I love how Marsha is sneaking around looking for letters. Heehee! Pam's letters are so heartfelt (the opening greeting and closing line of that first one was just priceless!!).

I love how openly honest Pam is in these letters...and I love reading about Marsha piecing the story together. Oh this part was so bittersweet: I hope Karen tells you every day how incredible you are. Because you are. I don't know how else to say it, Jim you are... everything.

Aww what a great start! This is a really unique idea -- I love the idea of Pam writing Jim unsent letters. They're so sweet yet heartbreaking at the same time. Glad you decided to continue this story. =)

So great to see an old favorite resurface.  Thanks for a great ending, Azlin.

Author's Response: You're so welcome, NanReg! I'm glad it's an old favorite! That just makes me smile. :)

Wow. I just read all of this in one go - it was so beautiful! A really great idea and spot-on characterization. I loved Marsha and her family, and all the letters were really open and interesting and moved the story along at the exact right pace. It was so good!

Author's Response: Thanks so much, Ruby Caspar! (Cute name, btw.) I love it when newer fans aren't afraid to leap into the older, longer stories. And thanks for leaving a review! It means a lot to me.

Pam's letter is seriously making me tear up. This chapter is so much love.

Yay! That was awesome Azlin, it's so sad to see them all grown up *sob* but very nice to know how wonderful everyone's lives ended up. Amazing.

Author's Response: Thanks, dm! I know I was kind of going out on a limb here with all the future stuff (I'm not sure how much anyone really wanted to know about their lives that far in the future), so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I realize that this is "old" but I just had to say this:

The anticipation Marsha felt about having those letters in her pocket is the same that I feel when I'm waiting for another of your chapters to load.

Um... I think that was my first official review, although I've been squealing and cursing at others for many, many months!

Author's Response:

Thanks, larajane! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And it's awesome that this is your first review! I feel so special now! ;) Thanks again! I'm pretty partial to this story myself, so no matter how old it gets, it's always fun to hear that someone's still having fun reading it!

first, kudos for an amazing DMB song as the title chapters.

and second, i read this story and finished it and was thrilled with how wonderful it was. the dream girl letters-- blah, made me feel all giddy, what girl wouldn't want to read something like that?

an older story, but i still have insane love for it!

Author's Response: Okay, I know you reviewed this awhile ago, but I was in the midst of holiday stuff so I sort of...um...forgot. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for your comment. And lest you feel like it made absolutely no difference, it did actually encourage me to write part of the epilogue, which I'm still only about half done with but whatever. The point is, I really appreciate your taking the time to review this story. I had so much fun writing it, and it's really fun to hear that some people are still enjoying reading it!

What a great ending!  I love the idea of the dream girl letters.  If I ever have a son i will make him do this too.  Awesome story!

I do this thing where I don't want a story to end and I don't want my eyes to wander too far ahead and give anything away - I just scroll the screen up a few lines at a time and keep everything hidden until I'm actually reading it.  Doing that now.  Have I mentioned how good this is?

I knew Karen was going to find out about the letters, I just didn't know how you were going to do it.  This was perfect...having her find Marsha's letter.  Hey, I'm curled up with a nice comfy throw and a glass of wine and I'm here for the rest.  Thank you for such a good read - it really is great to read this all at once.

She drifted off to sleep imagining herself as Pam. Young and pretty, with enough time left in her life to fix her mistakes.

Good Lord, that kicked me dead square in the grief bone.  Great chapter, loved Jim's inner thoughts as he read Pam's letter - spot-on Halpert.

And the chapter titles are lyrics from DMB's Dreamgirl!  I can't tell you how much I love Pam writing herself a letter from Jim!  So wonderful!
