I love this. I can't wait to see Pam's evolution -- and maybe Jim realizing once she's gone, how wrong being with Karen really is.
Even if we don't see the Jim part of it (though I'll keep hoping) I'd love to see Pam finally coming into her own.

LOVED this! Loved Michael's reaction! Loved Pam's thoughts... especially how she doesn't want to hurt just to feel something. Hope this move is good for her... and I hope you continue!
P.S. Great use of the old talking heads. Especially that last one! Her words take on a whole new tone in this context.

I had to check to make sure it wasn't marked "complete"! And hurray, there'll be more! I really enjoyed this. I love Pam stepping up and doing something about her life. I love your description of how going back to Roy actually enabled her to figure out that it wasn't right.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, they'll be more. I'm glad you liked her epiphery about getting back with Roy. I think this whole season has been about Pam growing and finding herself, so I wanted to write a story that expounded on that a little :)
