I wish I'd reviewed when I first read this, but I hope you haven't abandoned it completely. I'd love to read more--it's well written, and you have a good sense of story and mood.

I second the request for the next chapters!  C'mon, a little reward for having to read Jim/Karen.  Even if he does shout out Pam's name during, you know.

I'm hoping you're going to continue--I really enjoyed reading this first chapter, and can't wait to see where you go next.

Yiiikes. That is just about the worst mistake he could have made. But at least it seems to have knocked some sense into him! Good stuff.

Whoops.

Maybe next time Jim will remember to scream "Victory for the Forces of Democratic Freedom!"

:D

Author's Response: Wow.  Now I can't get that out of my head.  That is. . .  the best visual ever.  ;-)

Rock on.  This is exactly the kind of story I needed after seeing spoilers for the end of the season.  Update soon!

I knew from the summary this was going to be awesome.  I really enjoyed the subtleties like "she's always pushing him" this is great. Can't wait for more

Yes, I can definitely imagine Jim slipping up and saying Pam's name during sex.  I mean, that's what he truly wants and desires.  I'm liking it so far.  Keep the chapters coming.

Ooops.

You gotta feel bad for Karen there. And I had to laugh a little bit at the thought of her flicking the porch light on while he's standing there naked.

Awesome job. Can't wait to read about the other seven days.

Aww, I actually feel really bad for Karen!  I really want to see where you take this!...your last line was such a good starter for the story!

Love it.  This is a great line: "This is the most awkward situation he’s ever been in (and that’s saying something)"!  You've certainly started this right out on a high note!  Please tell me this is not a "5 nights of talking will fix it" kind of transgression!

Author's Response: I can certainly guarantee that *nothing" would fix that transgression in Karen's eyes.    . . .   At least in this fic.  :-)  Also, I'm pretty sure that, if she went that route, Jim wouldn't volunteer to participate.  That's the best thing about the story being in my head.
