I wasn't quite sold on the premise at first. Not because I don't like dark, but because I wasn't entirely convinced these character would actually behave this way. But the story really sucked me in, and the smut was top-notch.
My only real complaint is that sometimes the author's notes were too descriptive. Like in the last chapter, for example, I would have preferred not to know that there was going to be no KaPam until I read the story for myself, you know? A small complaint, but I would recommend letting the story speak for itself in the future.
And while I know this can't mean much coming from a stranger, I am really sorry to hear about your kitty.

I liked the level of Kapam in this chapter. I totally understand the impulse to end Jam on a "semi-good note," but man, Jim was a jackass in this story. Um, this TOTALLY HOT story. But, still. In my imagination, Pam leaves Jim behind after this because she can do better. Which is not something have ever thought reading Jam before, but you succeeded. In a hot, hot way. Did I mention: hot?

Thank you for that moment when Pam looked in his eyes and saw the old Jim. Although her sex with Jim's Evil Twin has been pretty hot so far, I missed that romance. Lines that cracked me up: Pam snarking that "this is not Pretty Woman," and both women asking "Jim, what's she doing here?" at the same time. As usual, can't wait to read more!
