I used to have severe nightmares in which my husband died. That image of Pam sobbing and not able to shake it even though he was OK- that brought it back to me vividly. Very well crafted. Another great chapter!

Yay, I knew that cooling power would come in handy to balance out hers. Here's hoping he figures out how to make it work in time! (I have faith that he will - otherwise I might end up very mad at you!)
And I loved their method of getting out - using both Peter and Hiro's power and Mohinder's help as well - it emphasized how all of the characters can be important and work better together. I was also amused by Sylar's frustrated, "You can do things. Good God, why do I even bother in explanations when I can just-“ - I think I have a rather sick sense of humor.
Author's Response: I'm glad you said that about Sylar because I have been having such a HARD time writing him. I can't seem to get him in character. I do not know why.

I also didn't expect it to get so suspenseful with Sylar so soon! But it's very exciting. And Dwight! Dwight's flashy eyes! Is he special too, and working for Sylar? Uh oh! Or is he trying to get Jim *away* from danger/help him? Can't wait to find out.
