So nice! This line really hit me Could I be that guy? The dad and husband guy? And of course, yes is the right answer!
Their thoughts seem very believable. I like how their thoughts are overtaking their abilities to speak clearly and such; it make sense that they're overwhelmed.
Author's Response: Thanks TLK. I have to think that Jim could absolutely not see himself raising a family with Karen but could with Pam. - BL
Author's Response: Overwhelmed is the perfect word for this situation I agree. Thanks so much! - xoxoxo

WOW! What a great, innovative idea! I love the running commentary when they kiss. And the mirrored self-doubt. Love to see more of this!
Author's Response: Thanks NEJ, glad you liked. We might do more someday, possibly. - BL
Author's Response: Thanks for the review NEJ - glad you enjoyed it! - xoxoxo

Oh wow. I'm a bit thoughtless like Pam at the moment! I must say, that was without doubt the funniest piece of fluff I've ever read! I think you guys nailed their inner voices perfectly. And the format was so much fun, really unique, but fabulous for post-date self-analysis. Very glad that Pam called (even though I was secretly hoping Jim would end up driving back to her place!).
Author's Response: Thank you belsum. Initially I was trying to write what Pam was thinking and it was a real struggle but then I realized that she would not be thinking at all and it all came together. I'm glad Pam called too. Thanks for reading as always. Your reviews always make me smile. :) xoxoxo

So lovely! And fun to see how faltering and unsure these two crazy kids are about the other's feelings when they both just want it all. Well done!
Author's Response: It was fun to see both sides of the story unfold as we wrote. So glad you liked it! xoxoxo

This makes me all kinds of happy. You two did a great job with your respective sections and brought them together just right. *contented sigh*
Author's Response: Thanks second drink, always nice to cause a contented sigh. -BL
Author's Response: So happy you're happy!! Can't ask for much more. Thanks so much! xoxoxo

That was just perfect. It really seemed like it could come from both of them.
Author's Response: Thanks gotkona, that's really a nice compliment to get. -BL
Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed it!! And thank you for the sweet review. xoxoxo

Loved seeing inside their heads. Very good on the characterizations. Loved that when they were kissing Jim kept thinking "I'm kissing Pam!" Very good FDF.
Author's Response: Thanks flamingos, glad you liked the characterization, and the recurring "I'm kissing Pam" thought was a favorite of mine too. -BL
Author's Response: Thanks flamingos!! That's all we can hope for. So glad you liked it!! xoxoxo

Wow. That was really good. Very unique. I loved the back and forth. It's great seeing (hearing?) both of their thoughts as they are going through the end of the first date.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked! -BL
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It was certainly fun to write. xoxoxo

Oh my, I really loved this! Just so cute. Usually I don't like all POV fics, but you guys just rocked this one. I'd love to see more!
Author's Response: Glad to be an exception...we worked pretty hard to get the POV right, glad it worked for you. -BL
Author's Response: It was tough. I forgot how to think like a girl for a few minutes there but it all worked out in the end. :) Thanks so much for the review. So glad you liked it! xoxoxo

I. LOVED. THIS. Would you possibly consider doing more of this? Like just a whole bunch of chapters on their relationship in this format? It's so awesome! You guys work so well together.
Author's Response: Thanks! We haven't ruled out a sequel down the road. -BL
Author's Response: I'M. SO. GLAD. We're considering Thanks for reading! xoxoxo

LOVED everything that story chose to be. Their thoughts were just so much what I think they would be in this situation. Just a beautiful little picture of first date ramblings. LOVED THIS.
Author's Response: Thanks LF, always great to get the opposite of Toby compliment. -BL
Author's Response: Thank you LoveFool. Maybe next we'll try to tackle what Jilly's really thinking. ;) xoxoxo

What a perfectly wonderful story - and by 2 of my favorite authors! You both did such an awesome job with their respective thoughts - Pam's were so Pam and Jim's multiple "I'm kissing Pam" thoughts were so adorable! This is definitely going into my favorites and I'm going to give it a gazillion stars. Wow. A gazillion stars?? I feel so honored! Thanks so much kaystar! xoxoxo
Author's Response: Thnaks so much kaystar, what wonderful compliments. So glad you enjoyed it. -BL

Terrific. Great job to both of you. You both did a great job to Jam's insight when they are together. You guys should think about doing a sequel. Of course it's easy for me to say. I'm just doing the easy part, enjoying the story.
Author's Response: Well, we're going to take a break but we haven't ruled out a sequel. Glad you liked, and thanks! -BL
Author's Response: Thanks kgarrett!! As BL said we are thinking about it. Stay tuned! xoxoxo

I just ADORE that we get both POV's in this. In fact, it makes me a little sad that we won't get this much insight into the first date on the show, let's face it, these two are freaking adorable with how googly they are for each other. And also very human in their insecurities. Love, love, love this.
Author's Response: Wow, three loves! Thanks hoo...and you're right, we'll likely never see their first date so we have to settle for imagining it.-BL
Author's Response: So glad you liked it Ms Hoo! We probably won't ever get as much insight on these two at all on the show - but it's fun to imagine it here. Thanks for reading! xoxoxo

This was just so funny and so in character I totally loved it. It was so sweet and Jammy and them. It just made me happy and smile and yay!
yeah, one huge smile on my face.
Author's Response: Thanks Emily, glad it made you smile.-BL
Author's Response: Glad you liked it Emily! Smiles are good. :) xoxoxo

Great concept and even better execution. I have to admit, I admire your being able to pull this off at all - don't think I could co-write a story (clearly, I never learned to share my toys well!) Love how they're pretty much thinking the same thing, but both so nervous and almost giddy. Really love Jim's amazement that this is happening. And this line, I think, sums up Jim's Pam-lurve: He says it like I've done something amazing by just standing there.
This was really fun and insightful from start to finish. Well done, you two.
Author's Response: Thanks so much Colette. I like the concept too; it allows me to pretend I'm on a date with Pam. -BL
Author's Response: That was my favorite line Colette. Leave it to you to reference it. Thank you so much. xoxoxo

You guys! This was really great to get both their thoughts. In many ways, what they were thinking wasn't all that different, but there were so nervous, they couldn't really figure that out. That was a great idea for a joint venture.
Author's Response: Thanks MA, I agree, they're coming from similar places of nervous excitement and maybe both feeling a bit overwhelmed.-BL
Author's Response: Thank you Miss MA. The idea wasn't mine - but I'm glad you liked the result. :) xoxoxo

Love it, just love it. I adore getting to hear their inner thoughts, and I think you got them both just right. I like that we get to see how similar they are, how similar their thoughts are; and yet, there are things they are still misunderstanding. I think that's real, and perfect.
I know you guys struggled with this, but I'm so glad you did it. This is truly special, a stand out!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, and thanks for your help with it. Hopefully some day they really will understand each other. -BL
Author's Response: I can't believe you read it again! LOL! Thank you my dear. So glad to have you as backup. ;) xoxoxo

Oh, you guys. This is beautiful. Mixed up, adorably, wonderfully beautiful. Perfect, maybe. Gah, I'm not even coherent. *Cheers*
Author's Response: Wow, thanks nqllisi...dunno about perfect but it was fun to write. Glad you lked -BL
Author's Response: Neither was Pam - Lis. :) So glad you liked it. I like having the chance to repay you for your lovely recent contributions. xoxoxo

OH! this was so true-to-character, and really delightful to read! Yeay! I loved it.....And, um....you couldn't go wrong by continuing, you really couldn't.....<bats eyelashes enchantingly>
Author's Response: Thanks MO, glad you liked . Maybe down the line we'll revisit this format. -BL
Author's Response: Are those lashes real or did you bust out the fake ones just for us??? LOL! I'm so glad you liked it. xoxoxo
