This is so creative. Genuinely saddens me that it was never finished. Come back, unfold!

This is a great story. I stumbled across it yesterday and read all of it in one sitting. PLEASE, PLEASE finish this! It's a great concept and plot and I'd love for you to finish it. Just please know that it's great and you do have those who are reading it who are waiting with baited breath for more! :)

I'm not sure when the last time you updated this was, but it is INCREDIBLE and HAS to be finished, PLEASE!

Now compare this to Jim's confession/consolation to Dwight in the stairwell in 4.04. It COMPLETELY fits. You nailed it. He was miserable. Freaking phenomenal. Are you sure you don't write for the show?

The bit about the chocolate and peppermints just cracked me up. Too much funniness.

You know, you do conversations really well. And I'm just realizing that you don't always do conversations. And this whole thing is a one-sided conversation. And its better than most dialogues I read.
Therapists suck. Well, mine did so I quit going.

Well this is dark.  I really want to see you pick this up, even though it is a little outdated by now.

This story is really interesting.  I think it is really good build up to Casino Night...it kind of explains how all of the sudden he is so bold!  I would love for youto continue this into the third season! You have done a really good job!  I can't wait to read the next part!  Just please dont let it end with Jim killing himself or being addicted to drugs....try for a happy ending if you decide to end it (please!!)

I really like this. It just seems very jim. And I always wondered how he wasn't losing his mind over the whole pam fiasco, cause its a lot to deal with. But seriously what was the accident?

So glad you're continuing this. You get into his head and heart so well and it's good to see him actually talking about this stuff to someone, even if it's not clear that he's making progress working through it yet. Looking forward to the finale (and possibly beyond!)

I really like this version of telling Jim's story. It's very unique and creative and very interesting to read. I'm sure that this story is incredible difficult to write, making the entire session conversation up and everything. But if you were to write more I would be most overjoyed. ((Especially for a post casino night chapter or even some more recent season 3 time period stories.))

it’s telling him that he’s defective, flawed, he can’t do this on his own

Jim needs a better therapist. :) This one is not empowering him; he is tranquilizing him. That's not what Jim needs right now.

I am anxious to read more of Jim's inner thoughts. You've done a great job of capturing them. I like the Brief Interviews format and Jim's answers are very revealing.

plenty of people like me just fine, but none of them know me at all

*wince* Poor Jim. Such a telling thing for him to realize. Or to say. Good line.

he’d sunk his teeth into the corner of his pillow and cried for two hours until he felt lightheaded and fell asleep.

This line makes me want to shoot somebody for making this poor guy feel so bad.

Oh, so so good.  It hurts so much because it's Jim and because the way you've written this painful process feels so real and familiar.  There are so many little, subtle insights here that I love--most of all the few lines in the middle about how Pam's unhappiness makes Jim feel empty and maybe keeps him in Scranton.  I've never read that thought before, and gah is it beautifully depressing.

Loving the style of this story.  Its very powerful only hearing Jim's side of the conversation.  Like you are trapped inside his head or something.

I want to reach into this fic and hug Jim.  Not such an unusal thing - but usually I want to hug him for being so dang sweet.  This Jim needs a hug for a whole lot of different reasons.  I swear this is a compliment - but knowing what I know about how things play out - it's kinda like watching a runaway train speed toward the inevitable crash and I'm desperate to pull the emergency break.

I'm taking you at your word - that you'll resolve this in some hopeful fashion so I'll sit on my hands for now and enjoy the ride.

Some optimism, some possibility creeping in here, from the flower scent, to Jim's acknowledgement (“Because that’s what we do. We don’t talk about things. We just pretend they don’t happen until it feels like they really never did happen.”) to his conviction that he can get by without medication.

One of the most heartbreaking things about this fic is how lonely Jim is, when almost everyone around him really likes him. The one person he'd normally talk to can't know.

Yet.

Thanks so much for updating - if I hadn't been sitting down already, I'd've tripped clicking on the link :)
