Hey, nice story. I wrote something similar myself just today. Except yours is nicer and more sugary. Mine's a cold bucket of reality. But this is well done. Good job.

Oh no! I can't wait to see how the awkward conversation with Dwight plays out. With all the pranks Jim has played on Dwight, I think Dwight has finally had his payback!

Author's Response: Thank you kaystar, as always I really appreciate your review and I am so glad that you like it. Yes, without even knowing it Dwight has really gotten them on this one. But I suspect that their ability to prank Dwight will be important here.

I have so much love for everything you write, but this has got me soooo excited! I've only seen a little bit of what you're planning next, and I can't wait!!

Author's Response: Thank you shan....you know that I also adore your writing and hope we see more that it soon.

Oh dear god. I thought I knew where you were going with that... I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you so much. Yeah, I kinda didn't hide the ball there, but the fun will be getting them back out of it don't you think? I have the next partially written so it shouldn't be too long.

"OK. I know what's going on. You're talking about Jim and Pam. If they're having sex...what it looks like." [/Michael]

Poor poor Pam. So sweetly steamy and the kind of "adventure" I imagine them having. Perfectly in character.

Yay you!

Author's Response: EEEEE! That line cracks me up. Thanks for the review, always a compliment from you. And I'm really happy - I try so hard to keep them in character. :-) YAY back at you, for just being you.

Niiiiice.

Author's Response: thanks, can I pass you a piece of the hot circle of garbage? or do you have ties to the mob?

Hey, thanks uncgirl.

The Mayor/Doctor of Snarkland is Dr. Gregory House, my favorite snarky doctor. And yes, you can come to Snarkland. You'll even get to meet him. :)

And, yes, Mel Brooks is an institution...or would that be he BELONGS in an institution. :) Just kidding.

I can't wait for more sexual misadventures of Jim and Pam.

Author's Response:

Seriously, I adore House. So, yep, leaving on the midnight train to Snark-land...la la la.....

Oh my goodness! Everything seemed to be going okay until the very end! I can't wait to see how they will get out of this one. Haha. I very much enjoy this series and I'm so glad you decided to continue. :-)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review sgs. I had been toying around with continuing but I admit that S4 sort of threw me for a loop in terms of, well, what should I be writing now? But this fic has been alot of fun to work on, so I'm happy. I love Pam too much to totally humiliate her of course, but it is going to be interesting in terms of getting the key from Dwight. Btw, you're doing NANO aren't you? I'm super nervous about it.

Bwah! Why did I know that Jim wouldn't have the key? And please don't let Dwight deliver the key in person!

Glad to hear you are continuing the series...

Author's Response: Lisa, thanks for the review as always. I had been sort of watching thinking, I hope Lisahoo reviews...and here you are. YEA! I'll admit that I am having fun with this one. Course Nano is also scaring me. But I am trying to write ahead so I can be posting during Nov.

omg! akward! this story is great! cannot wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the rating and review Believe. I am so happy you are enjoying it. Yep, I'm afraid that this fic is all about bringing the awkward. But it should be fun!

HAHAHAHA. Please tell me you're going to show the conversation in which Jim has to explain this to Dwight! Beautiful!

Author's Response: Kate, already written and should be posted soon. I'm really glad that I could give you a laugh. thanks for the review.

So funny...

The very first thought I had in my head at the end of this was a line from "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" (Ok, don't laugh...I actually like Mel Brooks.)

CALL A LOCKSMITH!

Author's Response: Couple of things....love your penname! Can I come to Snarkland? I think I would fit in. Second, Mel Brooks is an institution, and one I don't mind being committed to. Last, can you imagine, "um can you came through to the back room, my wife is chained to the bed?" I wonder if any locksmith ever got that call? HA. Thanks for the review.

oh oh this is TOO FUNNY! i mean, i totally saw it coming, but it's still hilarious! oh Jim... so dumb. haha. and i love that she figures it out, just by the look on his face and they both say "Dwight!" b/c they realize where the key is... i can't wait to see how you get them out of this w/o Dwight finding out that Pam is handcuffed to the bed. haha

Author's Response:

Yes, jinx, you totally caught me on the fact that the problem is probably a little unoriginal, but I just adore putting them in these problems and showing their relationship under pressure. I'm really happy you liked the end, because that was the one part that I could just see actually happening and I was proud of it. I'm really happy if I gave you a giggle, and thanks for the review, it made me smile.

What, are you stealing my thunder with the Springsteen lyric song titles? If The Office were only on HBO, maybe we'd get to see something just like this. You do a great job with realistic bedroom stuff, and the dialogue is right, and of course the horror that the ending evokes...good lord. Poor Pam. Great stuff.

Author's Response: Okay would I purposefully steal your thunder? Thanks for the encouragement to post, the beta, and in generally being a good friend. I also appreciate the vote of confidence on the smut-lite. I always feel ridiculous writing it, and I'm convinced it is hard to know if it works for the reader or not. Wouldn't it be great if TO were on HBO? I would love that. Yes, Dwight....sigh...well we all know he has a soft spot for Pam (HE DOES DANGIT) but how far does that go I wonder? I mean can he be nice in this scenario? We'll see....

Well we all know what I think of this. Masterfully crafted, uncgirl. Can't wait for more ;-)

Author's Response: Awwww shucks KT :-). Thanks for your help on betaing as always. BTW, how is nano going for you? I'm not ready... I can't wait to see more from the x-files of Stablergirl!

Hot...and funny : ) Can't wait to see where this goes...

Author's Response:

Thanks Nan! I know it boggles the mind that Dwight will have to get involved - but it is going to be so fun! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the lovely review. It always makes me happy if you like something I posted. :-)
