I’ve been searching for a FTC fic and I delightfully stumbled across this one.

"Once the coast was clear, Pam opened the application and re-read his final answer, “gf covered in chocolate sauce.”

Hilarious! I loved this story and am a huge fan of your work! :)

Oh, that was hilarious!

I really like how this fic accentuated the 'obnoxiousness' of Oscar. And Jim's answers were hilarious. Second to Stanley's.

Great job with this!

I think chocolate sauce is the best gourmet meal of all the gourmet meals. :)

I loved this Muggins, you never disappoint. Very in character for them all, and I can totally see this as the beginning of the FTC.

This was great, Muggins! I loved the interaction between Oscar and Pam. I wasn't a huge fan of the Finer Things club, when I first saw the episode, but this story made it a lot more appealing.

Ok, this was a MILLION times better than the FTC on the show... I loved how Pam helped people with the answers and her save of that last answer by Jim. Very nice little part at the end too ;) Oscar was totally in character! What a snob, ha ha ha! Gotta love it! Thanks for this.

This was great! I love it when fanfic explains things that happened on the show that I had questions about. Dwight's listing of all that fancy food had me laughing out loud. Great stuff!

This explains SO much. I now understand how The Finer Things club got started.

And also that I would be like Stanley in my total inablilty to care to answer those questions. Because even the supposedly 'gimme' question of gourmet food.... um, yeah, A quick lesson in Emily eating habits - there are the basics: mac and cheese, pb and j sandwhiches, and chicken fingers.

Reading about the application process for the finer things club as you have it here was INFINITELY more interesting and funnier than the actual finer things club! :)

This was so great. Reading about everyone's answers was like peeking at a personality test of sorts. You have a terrific grasp of the characters' voices, and it was a treat to read this!

P.S. Oscar....is kind of a bitch. :P

Author's Response:

Wow! That was a quick response. I hadn't even polished it up yet! You do know that I wrote it specifically for you, don't you? I knew you hated the b-plot so much that I had to think of SOMETHING to make you like it a little bit more. Just like I had to write Phyllis' Wedding shower to make that awful, awful episode a little more bearable. :)

and P.S. Oscar... is adorable, bitch that he is.
