Man, you just had a really good handle on these characters and their inner monologues. This feels exactly like what would have been running through their minds during E-mail Surveillance – Jim’s mind-racing, off-kilter and debating if he should and wondering if she wants him to, and Pam, giddy as hell and not coming within a mile of the reason why.

"He has to remind himself once more that every little moment that turns his world upside down means nothing at all. Wishful thinking is just that."   I loved this episode and loved your take on it.  Very nicely done!

I love reading your stories that look back on my favorite moments from various episodes.  Hope there are many more to come.

Really liked this.  I wasn't sure if you were veering off in to AU or not.  This would fill in the blanks nicely in the email surveillance episode.  Great job!

“My mother is a very skilled woman,” made me laugher harder than it probably should. This made me happy :)

Little thing, though: 'frat girls'--did you mean sorority girls or frat guys' girls?

Author's Response: Yikes! Thank you for pointing that out, I'll correct it stat. Thanks for reviewing!

This was really sweet, and I liked how it was so understated. Just a quiet little moment between the two of them. Very in character. Well done!

Aww, Jim!  This is so true: He has to remind himself once more that every little moment that turns his world upside down means nothing at all. Nothing like a little S2 angst to start the day.

What a great story.  I love "E-mail Surveillance" fics with all that awkward bedroom intimacy.  So different from the workplace.  These lines were great:

As he turns out the light and shuts his bedroom door, he takes a second to wonder how many times he’ll replay that particular scene in his head, imagine all sorts of different endings, and whether he can count that high.

Nice job!
