Christmas in Feburary. Works for me. (SEE GD! That is why I don't care if we have a Christmas episode in April! Pretty please!)

"Pam walked into th living room"
Now, unless I am mistaken, the usually has an e at the end of it. :)

I will have to start doing the whole christmas card thing soon. I don't ever know who to send it to. Some friends it seems weird do, but it seems mean if I don't. Relatives I don't know if they fall under ones I send or ones my mom sends. Its confusing!

I save all the cards I get. I have all of them in a filing drawer thing, separated out by occasion such as birthday, christmas, sympathy, just saying hey, stuff like that. However, my mom does not. She usually either recycles them or reuses them (cuts off just the front part, and uses it as a present label). But for me, its like, someone took time to buy/make this card, to give it to me. And its getting saved. Every once in a while I think of trying to weed a few out, but every one means something. Even if it just has like their named signed, and its a generic card, I am still like, "Oh yea, Carolyn gave this to me. I was so surprised to get it. I remember crying." something like that.
/Emily ramble (isn't that all my reviews though?)

:O! Connection! See, this is where she first mentions to Jim the card she finds in the later story. Okay, I don't know how this story ends, but that is the connection in my brain right now.

My mom always did the Christmas cards alone also. And the christmas letters.

They are sending out cards together! They are totally at that point in their relationship. Its a gigantic aww from me.

(and Pam better never have to send out cards alone again.)

Awww!  The joint card milestone.  What a lovely one to visit.  And nice way to include the mysterious disappearing Christmas card!

I love happy PB&J for the holidays! You bring up a good point, Moxie: Where does joint card-giving fall on the relationship spectrum? Really lovely, and the perfect thing to bring a smile to my face. But, we don't get to learn what happens when Pam gets her favorite Christmas card back!?

Hello dear.  Add me to the list of folks inspired to finally send out some cards ( the boring ones, not the fun ones I already sent out.)

This story is too cute and just so easy to visualize, with the tree lights, the b-ball game on the tube, Jim trying to watch, but being totally distracted by Ms. Beesly's elaborate Christmas card preparations.  Love how you write their banter, for example how the green marker is "non-negotiable."  Just makes me smile.

I can't believe we had that discussion with Jen about that damn card.  Who knows?  If we don't get a JAMmy Christmas episode until a year from now, maybe they'll listen to our pathetic pleas and include the contents of the mystery card in 2008.  It could happen!

*sigh* this is lovely. Christmassy fluff is just what I needed. Fantastic :)

I want a Christmas card from Jim and Pam!

Author's Response: yeah, so do I!  :-) Thanks for reviewing, shootingstars - it's like early Christmas!

What a sweet story. It made me feel all warm on the inside, like how you feel after drinking hot chocolate.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks, Kay - glad to keep you warm in this weather!!  :-)

Happy contented sigh.  Sounds like Pam's Christmas card production is as elaborate as Jenna's.

And dammit, I want to see that Christmas card!  (The one from the teapot, that is).

BTW -- thanks for reminding me I haven't sent mine out yet. [/slacker]

Author's Response: Don't worry - I haven't sent mine out either.  :-)    And that christmas card?  Maybe Santa will leave it in our stockings this year....

This is a perfectly lovely distraction to the strike.  Though it made me realize even more how much I freaking miss those two!  Thanks for the smile and the sweetness that is Jim and Pam as they prepare for their first Christmas together.

Author's Response: ah, the strike.  :-(  I wish we had real Office Christmas stories, but I'm glad these help a little.  :-)

Well, this satisfies my fluff craving big time. Did you see that JF interview I posted yesterday? (After, I think, you posted this fic though.) She talks about how into sending Christmas cards she is. How topical! Jim wanting to sign too? Makes me want to take a bite right out of him ;-)

Author's Response: believe it or not - I hadn't seen it!  I guess Pam's a lot like Jenna, huh?  Glad you enjoyed it.  Thanks for the review :-)

It's good to have you back!  I've been waiting for part 4 of Squirrel Mcpants II but this was very nice!  Will the story continue?  You never disappoint with JAM!

B

Author's Response: Hey, sorry about the delay, B - I haven't forgotten Squirrel 2.  This story is probably done, but there are always other ways of getting back to what's in that card....!

Very nicely done and perfect timing for the holiday!  God it would be fun to see Jim and Pam share a scene just like this.  And the card...someday, maybe?

Author's Response: I know, I feel so sad that we don't have a christmas episode this season.... but so glad you liked my attempt for the holiday!  Thanks for reviewing, Mr Bill!

Ok, ok ... I'm addressing my cards right now, I promise! That's the boost I needed.

Author's Response: haha - glad to help, BBG!  Maybe I should go write mine now, too?  :-)

Very cute.  I've counted three stories of late that all mention the famous mystery Christmas card.  I wonder which one of you authors will be the first to tell us what is said!!! LOL

Author's Response: Fluff is slightly less sticky than sap, too.  :-)  Thanks for the review, invis!

Oh, this is sweet, Mox, and I coud easily picture it. I love them! Will we ever get to read Jim's card?

Author's Response: Thanks, Gigi! Will we ever get to read Jim's card?  Not according to Jen Celotta.  But then again, there's always an AU universe, right? :-)

Adorable! So spot on! Fantastic job.
But I really really really wanna know what he put in that card...any chance we can get a sequel with a Christmas miracle? :) I'd love to hear your take on that card!
*sigh* Oh Jim/Pam Christmas fluff...how I love thee.

Author's Response: thanks so much for reviewing, PBS!  I didn't have it planned, but I'm not ruling out another chapter.  How's that for a definite answer?  :-)

this was great, Moxie. I love anything you write. is this a oneshot? Will we see Pam get Jim's card?? Meh, either way, this was great. So sad we won't get to see an Office Christmas this season. Its just wrong. But little ficlets like this help. Thanks for sharing!!! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for such a nice review, Sharipep!  I had originally written this as a oneshot, but who knows if the Spirit of Christmas will strike again.  :-)

Awwww. Thery are just sooo sweet together. Holiday fluff is the prettiest fluff of all the fluff! Of course, now I am jealous because I do, in fact, sign my husband's name on all the cards, for both our families. Heh.

Author's Response: Don't feel bad; I sign for both of us too.  :-P I'm glad you enjoyed the fluff!  Thanks for reviewing at such a busy time of year.

Fluffalicious, Moxie. Nice to see a story from you again.  Well done.  I like these one chapter stories. I think I should write one. You inspire me. You...complete...me.

Author's Response: LOL - glad to be of service, Daoust.  Looking forward to see what you come up with.  Thanks for reviewing!

I hope you don't mind me saying, time4moxie, that this was like the best part of fluff. Like, you know, the pie is good but we really all eat it for the whipped cream on top. It was whipped cream good and I really needed it. :) Wonderfully written, I did not see Pam bringing up the card from two years ago at all, and I loved the surprise! Also loved how Jim got his jab in about Roy not being able to write...heehee. I really enjoyed this, obviously! Thanks for a great holiday read.

Author's Response:

thanks so much, Recorderalways!  I'm always very happy to deliver on the best part of pie!  ;-)  (Ummm...pie...)
