The new stuff was great; you write the sexy moments very well, and as usual, I can't wait to see what'll happen next! -CH
Author's Response: That's a relief to hear, since I always get nervous writing the sexy bits! Thanks for your continued support of this story :)

Oooh, me likey your "extra little scene". It was bound to happen sooner or later with the two of them sharing such close quarters and basically being together 24-7. The restaurant looks very romantic and Pam's dress is perfect for her, even if it's borrowed.
Wondering how you're planning to write the next day. Awkward? Or more openess between them? Either way, I'm looking foward to it.
Author's Response: Indeed, I'm thinking maybe it was unrealistic to keep them apart so long! And I think the next day will be a mixture of both. Maybe mostly awkward, but hopefully not painfully so.

I've been following this story avidly.. just now posting a review. First off I LOVE Jim/Pam travel stories. Don't know why- tension? forced-together-ness? romantic situations? Anyway you've nailed all that and I'm loving it. Please continue!

Okay, that's definately the same hotel I stayed at, only I was in Seattle. I didn't notice that a Jim and Pam came included with the room. ;) I can't wait for the next chapter, aka sex.
Author's Response: Really? That's so cool! I've never been to any of the places I've written about so far. I guess I haven't traveled enough. Maybe I would more if Jim and Pam came with my rooms!

I really like this so far!!! It's very cute, and also strangely realistic considering the circumstances. Well done and I look forward to reading the next chapters.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it :)

I just got back from Walk Hard, check my email and see this was updated. That makes me very happy. Anyway, this was a pre-review review, I haven't even read chapter 5 yet but NOW I AM.
Off to read!
Author's Response: I'm happy to make you happy!

Ok, I have to say, I am enjoying Pam's POV and the er, frustration, over-analyzing every little move, inching toward the center of the bed, obsessing over what to wear to sleep in... seems like I'm a nervous college student all over again.
Author's Response: I think Pam is feeling very nervous adolescent, too. Thanks for your support on this story :)

Awesome chapter! I'm loving the tension you're slowly building...it's going to make for a great climax (that's what she said!) when they finally get everything out in the open.... Love it!
Author's Response: TWSS indeed ;) Thanks!

This is such a cute story! I love how you created so much tension between the characters. Please update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! I am a big fan of tension so it's nice to hear I'm not totally failing at it!

I am seriously enjoying this, deerinthepark!! I can't wait for more; you've done a great job establishing tension and cool dialogue. I really hope to see more from Jim's POV on all of this, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next few chapters!!
Oh, and this?
"Should I start or you? I don't mind, I'm awake."
"Sounds fine to me."
Being the lame kid that I can be some time, I was giggling through these lines as I heard a small voice in my head chirping, "That's what she said!!!" --CH
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! And yeah, I totally think TWSS all the time thanks to the Office! It makes for some very inappropriate giggling sometimes ;)

Wow, this is pretty damn good. Each chapter is better than the last, you seem to be finding your stride. I'm guessing I speak for many when I say I'll be really excited to see the next chapter.
I wish I was as good at sleeping in the car as them...I'm lucky if I can doze for an hour in the car.
Absolutely great and getting greater, thanks for this.
Author's Response: I know, they do spend a lot of time sleeping! But on long road trips I admit to be the kind of person who ends up sleeping through the majority of the day. And I think it's becoming increasingly clear that Jim is an excellent sleeper. I keep thinking he ought to be in a little more torn-up and dejected state at this point, but I'm just assuming he's able to kind of forget everything and just be with her on this trip, kind of like she's doing (or at least, trying to do). Thanks for the review, it's nice to hear that it's getting better and not worse ;)

Wow. I'm loving the self-inventory these two are taking as a result of their impulsive road trip. Exploring who they want to be, and what the other brings out in each of them, along with the delicious tension of 'things I'll inevitable ignore' are much more interesting than a random masturbation scene.
I think they are both so tentative around each other right now that it would seem OOC, IMHO. I think I'd find it more realistic for one of them to get up to go to the bathroom and crawl into the 'wrong' bed. But not quite yet.
Author's Response: Thanks for the detailed review! I'm trying to keep the tension up as long as I can because it's more realistic, I think, but it's hard not to give into the temptation to just write smut... I'm glad you're enjoying it :)
