Aw! I love this. And I love that it's so focused on the flashback, and so subtly references him remembering in the present. Maybe that memory would change his behavior in beach games, maybe he'd act on it, maybe he'd tell her, maybe not. I love that you leave that open.

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you liked it, Semby! I originally wrote more in the present, but I cut it out because I wanted the flashback to be the main thing. I still wanted to have some thing trigger the memory, so I left the very beginning and end parts in. Thank you for the great review! I really appreciate it. : )

Aww, I love stuff where they met before, they just didn't know it! It makes sense, considering they both probably grew up in the area. Great job!

Author's Response:

Why work in Scranton if you didn't grow up there? Unless, of course, you got transferred. So it makes a lot of sense. I'm really glad you like it, bebitched!

Oh, I like those stories that have them fated to be together. Very cute- and love how from the very beginning, Jim is an observer of Pam. Nice!

Author's Response:

Jim always seems to be watching her, so it was only fitting. ; ) I'm glad you liked it, nqllisi. Thanks for reviewing!

What a neat twist at the end!  And a nice story throughout!

Author's Response:

Thanks, Too Late Kev! I didn't want it to be cliched, so I'm glad you liked it. : )

Great beach story, especially during this crappy winter weather.

Honestly, I think GD got so much shit from women after S3 who complained about Kras being overdressed on the beach, that he tried to make up for it with the shirtless scene in the S4 premiere.

Author's Response:

Thanks for leaving a review, EverybodyHurts! Ugh, the weather  has been terrible. It's been snowing non-stop since yesterday, and all of the cars are stuck in the driveways. A warm setting seemed just right, and I'm happy you liked it!

And I'll admit, the shirtless scene helped, but no bathing suit in an episode called 'Beach Games' is a wasted opportunity. ; )

So cute - I love young Pam and Jim stories. And this line was great - "Even though he had forgotten, he now knew."

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it, kaystar! I thought that line kind of summed up the story. Thanks for reviewing!

I KNOW!!!  What was that?  I think he had on more clothes than we had ever seen him in!  I mean, the short sleeves were good, but THE HAT?  Good lord.  Who wears jeans at the beach?

P.S.  I love the 'Pam & Jim meet as teenagers' theme.  Love it.

Author's Response:

Ditto on the short sleeves, and the hat and jeans were IN-sane. That poor, poor stylist or whoever chose those clothes alienated a few thousand fangirls.

I haven't read many fics where Pam and Jim have met before, but it's such a compelling idea that I really wanted to try it out.

Thanks, lisahoo! You made me laugh, which is what I needed after pouring over purchase expenses for the majority of the day.

Ooh, nice angsty flashback.  Well done, Big Tuna.

P.S. We need pictures  ;o)

Author's Response:
I'm so with you on the pictures. When I found out that episode was called 'Beach Games' I thought for sure that we'd see John Krasinski in a bathing suit. I was seriously disappointed. Not with the episode, of course, just the lack of skin. ; ) I'm glad you liked it, lisahoo! Thanks for reviewing!
