You have written the characters of Pam & Jim to a tee. The paragraph where Jim was talking to himself about being "that kind of guy" - the thoughtful, sensitive guy that he is - was spot on. And Pam's confession of her love for him was heartwarming. This was a sweet story - one that I'm sorry had to come to an end - but I look forward to reading more of your work in the future. Keep at it. You're good.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments! Another story is in the works!! Thanks for reading!!

Beautiful line. Congrats on your first story!  You've got me hooked and I'm going to go read more right now..

What a nice arrangement we have:  you like reading reviews, and I like reading this story!  Another great update, skeber.  I can just picture Pam's family--you've done a great job in creating them--and you've created some nice tension in this chapter.  More soon please!

Author's Response: Thanks so mcuh for your comment! Chapter 10 should be up soon!!

Aww, how sweet. I love how Jim is getting along with Pam's parents and how much they like him. Not to be nitpicky, but I think Jim put Andy's calculator in Jello, not stapler (that was what he did to Dwight). =)

Author's Response: Your right! It was the calculator!! Thanks! I will fix that! Thanks for your comments! I really appreciate them!!

Eeek, not looking forward to inevitable Jim/Karen explosion. Loved the interaction between Jim and Pam's parents...and I like how you brought "Jonathan" into the story. =)

This chapter was great. Thanks for the quick update. You write Jim's spoken words just as I imagine he would deliver them and you've done a good job getting inside his head (and taking the reader there), too. I especially enjoyed the paragraph where he summoned the courage to ask Jenn about what Pam had told her about him. This was a great angle that I didn't see coming, but well worth taking! You added depth to both Jim and Jenn by including this conversation in the chapter. Another great line was when you described Jim's feelings after being told Pam was awake: "He felt like running and screaming and crying and laughing all at once". I truly loved this line. Jim would definitely have felt all these emotions all at once at the thought of finally getting to see and speak to Pam after this whole ordeal.

On a editing note, I respectfully mention that there were a couple of extra words that didn't get edited out where I had to stop and re-read the line to understand what you meant, but those were very small details. You've done a great job overall and I can't wait for your next update. :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comment! I really appreciate you reading my story and giving detailed feedback! Thank you! Also, thanks for the editing notes. I just started using a beta so hopefully they will be able to catch what I miss. I will have to re-read that chapter and make the corrections! Thanks for telling me!!

I've really enjoyed this story! I especially like your idea of Jim thinking of the yogurt lid to bring to her (oh that blessed yogurt lid!).
Oh and I loved this line because it is SO TRUE:

"Flowers always have a meaning. Get her the wrong ones and you could be telling her that she smells like rotten cheese.:

Hehe!
Nicely done, I'm looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thanks! I am really glad you like it so far! Hopefully I will get the next chapter up soon.

This is a beautiful story. Jim getting help picking out flowers for their meaning brought a beautiful picture to my mind and the hospital terrace overlooking the city did, too. Hopefully Jim will be able to take Pam out there to see the view soon. And Jim silently getting lost in his thoughts and tears out there... that was such a poignant and heartfelt scene and totally believable. When I read this part, I was wishing Jenn would come out there and catch him crying and hold him like only a mother can to comfort and reassure him, but that probably wouldn't have been as realistic as Rick being the one. One last thing, I like the way Karen bowed out gracefully, finally understanding the connection Jim and Pam have with one another. Your ending of this chapter was great and I can't wait for the next one.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review!! I really liked your comments on the different thigns that happend. The next chapter should be up soon!!
