Honestly? I was hoping for more angst...you're very good at it!! Heehee. But I'm glad they're talking again and that Jim finally made the first move. I like that Pam was waiting for him and daring him to talk to her. My favorite line: That's what you get, Jim thought. No more free babysitting either.. Very cute.

This absolutely killed me...like tears at work. I hate crying at work.
This was an exact mirror of what happened to my boyfriend and I this summer. He got really jealous but kind of neglecting at the same time and I left and dated this horrible man who was engaged and UGH it was the worst few months of my life....
We worked it out though....

Guh. I could just feel my heart breaking with this line: The difference was it didn't hurt so much with Karen. It didn't feel like he was going to die. Because right now, he had no heartbeat, no warm blood flowing through his veins as he accepted the box with resignation. They both need hugs...lots of them. Really great update, I'm addicted to this story. =)

Wow. This story is so good. This chapter killed me, but I'm a sucker for the angst. Of course, I do hope Jim comes to his senses soon because I'm also a sucker for happy endings.

This is such a well-written story. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop after your saying in the first chapter that "some of his promises would be broken." Was that foreboding? Or am I reading too much into it? For now, though, it's as sweet as honey!

I am SO digging this story! I totally get why Jim is feeling the way he is and I love him trying to work through it and not wanting to screw things up with Pam. I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Jim will do alot of soul searching in this. And his behavior might not be perfect, because he's not a perfect person, but he'll always be the guy for Pam in my story.
