Looks like I'm not the only one who clicked because of the title :)
I signed up just to leave a review (only reason I leave a 9 instead of a 10 is that there are a few word and phrase choices that I think could be polished)- the theme of the story is the kind that is easy to write bad fic about- the theme itself is emotionally charged enough that people can coast on it. You didn't do that at all, I think you handed it beautifully.
The title fits perfectly... not sure what else to say except this broke my fanfic reading little heart, and the ending mended it without overshadowing everything important that came before.
loved it.

Lovely - I think you did a great job of showing the spectrum of emotion and pain they'd go through if this happened - not able to let it go, even years later, even though they hadn't even known they had anything to lose in the first place. And the ending was very rewarding after all of that :)
Author's Response: I had actually planned to have the end be the beginning (if that makes any sense) and decided that it would be much better if you learn they have the baby after all of that pain. I'm glad you liked it!

Author's Response: Are you a Sufjan Stevens fan? The title is the name of one of his songs. It's an absolutely beautiful song, and it just happened to be what I was listening to while I wrote it. I'm glad you liked it!
