I think I need to read this through from the beginning to fully appreciate the new chapter, but I really liked it. Great work :)

PB&J and American Idol?  That sounds like a perfect first date for them!  Their wrestling on the floor was also absolutely in character and the logical progression of their flirting now that they could actually move forward with it.

Woooooooooh baby. You've got the Office awkward moment figured out pretty well!  It had me squirming in my seat!  Great job, Mox.

Wow, Mox, you have outdone yourself.  Way to make use of your free time ; )  Amazing job.  Way to ratchet up the tension!

I really love the story! You're doing a really good job with keeping the tension going while still making it clear how strong the feelings are between them. You did a good job with Karen - sometimes people just turn her into the super-evil bitch from hell, but you were able to convey her hurt feelings, desires, and whatnot without making her seem like that. I'll be waiting for the update! :)

Wow mox, that was INTENSE. I just found this story and much like the brilliant "Squirrel" I am addicted to the way you write Jim and Pam -- even when there is angst. I think you've really fleshed out the evolution of their relationship in this 'verse very believably and sweetly. I think it is very understandable that with all of the confusion and misconceptions and hurt feelings that they might be a little hesitant with one another despite the strength of their feelings.

And honestly -- what is not to love about a chappy full of lovely JAMmy fluff capped off with a little Jim self-lovin'? Although how Pam can keep herself on that couch and out of Jim's bed are beyond me -- her self-restraint is clearly MUCH stronger than mine would be in her shoes. SIGH.

Can't wait for breakfast! (Or perhaps some late night lovin'? Hmmm? Maybe??)

I kind of wish that Pam had caught Jim. That would be pretty hot. Other than that I've caught up on the entire story again and I'm glad the Karen thing is over with. I'm really interested to see how their relationship plays out now...especially if you're nice and give us a little bit of dirty stuff. Also, thanks to you I'm now sad I didn't wake up to the smell of french toast. That sounds really good. Great job on the story. I really hope there will be more real soon. It has been too good to keep us waiting.

Love the Jam Summit (of course!)  And I cannot imagine the self-restraint it must have taken for Pam to sleep on the sofa (but I think I see a method to your madness...)

And I bet Pam was ten kinds of cute in Jim's t-shirt.  And how cute that Jim is turned on by her plain white bra.  And why is it that all women will hide their underthings between their clothes when they take them off (off themselves, that is...)

Guess the rest didn't come to you last night, eh?  Lucky for us ;).  Am I assuming correctly that you won't make them suffer long?

Holy frijoles, Miss Moxie...look at you upping the ante. Between you and wendolf, Little Big Jim was really feeling the self-love yesterday ;-) This bit made me laugh for some reason: but what do about the situation? As usual, this was sweeter than either grape jelly or sexy raspberry jam. No way they make it through the night, what with the open door and undies on the floor and all...right? Or are you hell bent on torturing us them?

I think its time for an update... Please?!?!? Great story!

Author's Response: thanks for the review - but you do know I posted chapter 7 just over a day ago, right?  :)  Chapter 8 will be along asap!

Damn.  That was a helluva climax.  What an intense confrontation!  Karen's a crazy broad for forcing the issue like that but part of me understands why she would do it.  I'm just glad that neither Pam nor Jim followed standard practices and used it as an excuse to run.

I'm not really sure what I can say about this that I haven't already told you.  Except, that you did an amazing job with this.

What's that?  I already told you that?  My bad ;)

Okay I finally got around to readin this story -- I love the "voice" that you gave Karen, I think you portrayed her as a strong yet vulnerable woman. Great job. The best part is the banter and conversations between Pam and Jim.

You already know what I think of your Jim characterization so I'm going to give you my opinion on Karen and Pam's characterizations, respectively.

She wasn't stupid, just incredibly willing to look the other way so she didn't have to see something she might not want to see.

This is the best description of post-Stamford!Karen I've ever seen. You portray her as someone who was trying to work on a relationship with Jim (wouldn't you?) and sadly, she couldn't take the hint that she wasn't what Jim really wanted or needed.

Your Pam wasn't a withering flower who is waiting on Jim to complete her and that is why you are the best author on this site by far! Please keep writing and get a new chapter posted soon!

Wow! This was super fab! Love the standoff aspect and I'm glad that the "Karen problem" is (sorta) resolved. Can't wait for a real date dinner now ;)

Whoa.  I can't even imagine what it would have been like if we'd really seen all that.  Well - actually - I can, since you wrote it so vividly.

Soooo dinner huh?  :)
