Wow. Just... wow. I have a serious craving for Jim/Jan right now, and this completely satisfied my sour-tooth. I actually just wrote one but.... it's not as good as this. Anyways, you will always be one of my favorite office fanfic writers.

Wow. This was good in a painfully sad kind of way. Very nicely done, especially:

"This was supposed to be his shining proof that yes, he’d moved on and no, he didn’t miss Scranton so much that his heart hurt every time he tried to make it beat."

Author's Response: Thank you so much!

Oh ouch.  The fun thing about this piece is that while I don't believe it could have happened to these particular characters, I believe it totally could have happened.  Does that makes sense?  So intense.

Author's Response: Yeah, that makes sense. Thank you!

'pathetic' was the first word that came to mind.  but, you know, them.  not you.  YOU are great of course. i once read a post-casino night jim/jan fic that worked for me, as this does too.  and that last line is just killer... i think this is a great non-canon pairing.  because it's so wrong it's right.  rock on, bebitched.

Author's Response: Wow, ouch, I'm pathetic now? ;D But thank you so much!

ow. (In other words, nicely done).

Some favorites: his heart hurt every time he tried to make it beat -- yeah that pretty much sums of most of S3 for me.

But really it’s because she knows what it’s like to come in second best too. I never really looked at it that way.  Ouch again.

Author's Response: Thanks!... I think ;)
