I love you so much, Miss Mel. Everyday you post is a reminder of why I love fic in the first place. Don't make me wait long for more--I'm on the edge of my seat, my friend!!!  :D  -CH

Author's Response: I shall do my best to update as quickly as possible.  The feeling is mutual, though.  Don't think I'm not going crazy knowing that there are two...2!!!! Becky215 stories waiting for me to read either at lunch or after work today.  Thanks, as always for the review.

I just love this premise!  I am looking forward to future chapters.  I will be interested to see if you keep Anna as a sympathetic character.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review.  Anna will have a few trials to go through, so it will be interesting to see what you think then. Thanks!

Yay, a new GITC story!! I like Anna, it will be nice to see things from another perspective, especially a perspective that seems so perceptive.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review and I'm psyched that you like Anna.

I love these "behind the documentary" stories.  Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for your review. You certainly are going to get a lot of behind the documentary stuff here :)

Oh, sweet merciful God, THANK YOU!  I am beyond excited for this as well, as I'm sure many people are to see a new GiTC story on the most recent page.  Can't wait to see where you take this!

Author's Response: You are welcome.  I'm so glad you are looking forward to this and I sure as heck hope it doesn't disappoint.  I always appreciate getting reviews from you. Thanks again!

Aww, jeez, Mel.  You own the meta-fic genre.  You dabble in Jim's misery like it was finger paint.  (See, that's why I don't write.  My metaphors suck.)

Cannot wait to see where this goes.  (Most obvious review ever.)

Author's Response: Your metaphor doesn't suck at all.  I love it. i need it as part of a signature line or something.  Thanks so much for your review and I hope the rest of this doesn't disappoint.

I love the fact the fact Anna is a real person and actually cares. It will be great to see this partly from her point of view, trying to understand Jim and Pam's confusing relationship.

And I love all of these "real life" Office stories. i can't wait for the angst and the happy ending!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review.  I'm still working on developing Anna and I think the fact that she cares will cause some problems in the future. So glad you like it and I appreciate your review.

Now THIS is the sort of "Here's Jim and Pam as real people on a show, dealing with uncomfortable issues" story that I have been waiting for!

Seriously, you had me by about paragraph three, and it just kept getting better. I love all these "behind the scenes" glimpses you're giving us, and I think you are one of about a half dozen or so authors around here who TRULY have a grasp of what they should sound like. Major Schrute bucks for that.

I will be anxiously following this one. Well done!

Author's Response: Mose....Thanks so much.  I work so hard at the characterizations and I always feel like I don't have it right...that I'm resorting to convention and stereotype, so I was so glad to read that you think I've got their voices down.   you do a great job yourself of writing our characters on a show...just a different kind of a show...a travel competition show...hint hint hint

This is already amazing, and I can't wait for the next part - I love stories where the show is a big part in it, and we see how it affects their lives... and Anna is very cool.

Looking forward to the toupee...

Author's Response: I'm glad you like Anna. I always worry about introducing original characters, but I need her to move the story forward in some places. She'll have her own mini-plot line too. Nothing major, but I think it will be fun.

Wow!  This is so fabulous!  What an original and exciting idea.

My heart is breaking for Jim.

Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thanks so much. I don't know what it is about me, but I do love to break Jim's heart...possibly only so that it can be repaired. Thanks for your reivew.

HOLY CRAP.

So, Mel, you know I've been spazzing about that shit test I had today (which went great, BTW), and you know that I've been desperate for a new fic to sink my teeth into. But you? What do you do? You make up for the spazzing with a story that's as smooth as butter, and then you give me a story to obsess about for the next few weeks. Win-win. You better update soon, or I'll use my telekinetic powers to have your students leave thumbtacks in your desk chair everyday till the end of the year.

WONDERFUL work, and as always, you prove that you're the master of reality-reality. Cannot WAIT for more, my friend!! -CH

Author's Response: First of all...congrats on acing the shit test.  I know that as a writer of shit tests myself I should be rooting for the other team, but I'm glad that you pwned it.  Thanks also for your review.  I'm really looking forward to writing this story.  I got bogged down with my last two stories because I think I started talking myself out of them.  I don't write imagery very well and there are some beautiful stories here on MTT (yours included) and I think I started to psych myself out.  I do, though, think I tell pretty good stories and I'm okay with that.  This is a story I want to tell and it means so much to me to get a review from you.  So, thanks!!!!

I am big fan of your stories. I am sure this one is not going to disappoint. Yeah for trip to LA!

Author's Response: I sure hope it disappoint. I'm looking forwar to the LA trip. I don't want to spoil my own story too much, but it will involve Jay Leno, the Pacific Ocean and some steam.

This is so great!!!!! I cannot wait to see where this goes. Poor Jim, it is going to be not fun for him, huh? I love taking this angle on things. Great stuff!

Author's Response: It's not going to be fun for Jim for a while...but I'm an equal opportunity giver of misery. Pam will have some stuff to go through as well. Thanks for your review.

Hey,I am your #1 reviewer! Yippee for me! Okay, you have my attention and I know you will deliver a great story- chapter by chapter. I am glad you are writing some new stuff. Hope it is soon!

Author's Response: Thanks so much. I'm glad to be writing something new too. I had gotten down with 2 WIPs that got away from me and this feels really fresh and exciting. I hope it lives up to your expectations.

GITC - You just threw me a life preserver.  I needed a little break and was hoping against hope that someone had posted something good...and here you are!  Yet another novel idea and promising start.  There was plenty he wanted to confess…wished he could confess…needed to confess, but he knew from his youth and the claustrophobic wood box scented with Father Mike’s spearmint whispers that confession led to penance and he knew what his would be…he knew he’d lose her.   As a former Catholic schoolgirl, this made me chuckle--so funny in a tragic sort of way.  Poor Jim.  Really looking forward to more.

Author's Response: NanReg--Thanks so much for your review.  I'm glad I got the confession thing right. Most of what I know about catholicism comes from reading the Thorn Birds :)  I hope this lives up to your expectations. Thanks again!
