I usually don't read much non-Jim/Pam fic, but this one pulled me in! Gave both Karen and Toby some much needed depth. And I really liked this:
She could live with being a footnote.

Really enjoyed this story and its unique perspective.
She grabbed his arm, surprising him, and when he was facing her again, she said in a low voice, “Toby, I don’t think you’re pathetic...He watched her for a second, with those kind, sad eyes of his, and said, “I never thought you were a bitch.” Great job.
