You are so good at conveying, in just a few words, complex thoughts.

Example please:  suggests good sense. Short nails, ruddy skin, steel-toed boots.

When I reread that I was amazed it was so short. I had filled in so much information between the lines. I imagined her trimming her nails each morning so they wouldn't be broken at work hauling stuff. I imagined no nail polish so they wouldn't be chipped. She still wishes to be presentable & pretty, therefore, carefully clipped each day so nothing is ragged or ugly. All that from: short nails. That's just incredible writing! Thank you again and can't wait to read next week's Nomadshan!!

Author's Response: You know, one of my day-jobs is writing grant proposals, and there's often a word- or page-limit, so it's taught me to trim my writing down to the fewest, most effective words possible. Plus, it's fun to try and find those words. Thanks so much for reviewing, Muggins - it's nifty to know you'll be reading one a week :)

I really liked this, the two of them bonding over French braids and sticky yellow messes. It's good to see that Angela isn't always just eating soup alone at her desk, or something.

Author's Response: Thanks, travelingviolet, I appreciate that!  :)

Author's Response:

Thanks, MrsHalpert!

OK, every time I write your username, a difference image pops into my head. This time I felt like Eddie Haskell saying, "Thanks, Mrs. Cleaver!"    ;)

This was a very interesting story.  I'm glad you created some parallel ground between the two of them.

Oh, and I loved that blue and red ball with the yellow shapes!  This is is the kind of detail I love about your fics! :)

Author's Response: You can still get those through Tupperware, and maybe even at stores, not sure. But I didn't figure Madge would remember it was a Tupperware thing. Thanks, Morning Angel! :)

Because of your teaser, I thought this would somehow be about Roy...I'm glad it wasn't, because this was so much better. And "stinky, stinky and yellow"? Such a great line!

Author's Response: Thanks, Luna! :)

How sweet! Angela seemed to really have her guard down and acted "normal"!

Author's Response: Thanks, kaystar! I'd love to see some "open" Angela on the show.

Oh, I loved this so much!

Of course Madge has to deal with pee on the toilet seat!  Of course Angela loves the tidy rows of her ledger!  Kitty and French-braid bonding! And Angela's lunch is genius, with the shapes like that sorter-ball.

This fic is making me want to go organize something.

Author's Response: Thanks, Beth! I think it'd be hilarious to hear a conversation between these two - they're both so blunt, but completely unfazed by that.

LOL - such a bizaree pairing but I totally can see that happening.  Cool.

Author's Response: Thanks, Jonah5! :)

No offense to cat people, but I think that might be all it took for these two to bond! Nice job!

Author's Response: Thanks, Par5 :)

Oh my goodness. LOVE. I swear, these unconventional pairings are my fic kryptonite. I love that Madge reminds Angela of her uncle and OF COURSE they would both have cats. Also love that yellow is the new green to Angela. Awesome, shan!

Author's Response: Thanks, pennylane!  ;)

What a perfect, if somewhat surreal, moment. So sweet. Knowing what little we do about Madge, we already know they have something in common...this just feels like truth.

Author's Response:

*yay* Always hoping to hit that truth factor. Thanks, Lis!

Angela is reminded of her favorite uncle

OK I loved that.  And somehow I think if they have lunch again the conversation might turn to 1 specific warehouse guy.  ;)

Author's Response: I think you're right. That would be an interesting conversation, especially if he were semi-available. Thanks, Krissy ;)

This is so cute!  I never thought I'd say that about Madge and Angela together, but it is.  And funny, too.

Author's Response: Thanks, Lissa! These two are deceptively alike :)

Haha. Awesome. I like the detail of Madge and Angela sharing the french braid. I'm finding myself way more intrigued by Angela's character post-webisodes. In my head, now, someday Angela and Madge will dish about what a whore Pam is and they will very deliberately not mention Roy. Or his beard.

Author's Response: Awesome - yes! These ladies have so much in common! Thanks, tonightyourghost :)
