oh my god. i was laughing so loud at this chapter! and let me tell you, i have mastered the silent laugh, so this was an impressive feat of yours to get me to break away from my silent habit.

great job with this story, this was awesome!

btw, have you noticed how the office loves the word awesome? katy sings the a-w-e-s-o-m-e cheer in booze cruise, and then there's the awesome blossom incident. just saying...

Hilarious! I want to see more of this Halpert family. And let's see Jim getting in deep shit for having sex in his parents' bathroom. Or somewhere else.

Author's Response: i want to see more of them too! i do like to try and stay canon, but we'll see where the wind blows... thanks for the feedback!

you know they have sex on every solid surface

LOL! Of course they do. Wonderful line. :)

Thanks so much for a JewishJim. And the mental image of Jim singing Hebrew was just wonderful. And hot. Which is weird, but I liked it. Thanks for writing this.

Author's Response: yeah... jim in a yarmulke, singing in hebrew.  it doesn't sound hot at first glance, but, i think it would have to be pretty adorable nevertheless.  thanks for the feedback!!

I'm so glad you updated this! How much do I love... let's see... all of it! Oh so much. My favorite part:
"The three sat frozen, hands over their ears to try and block out an unfortunate event, until the bathroom door opened audibly. “Uh, Jim?” Larissa called out and the sounds of steps fell silent. “Jim?” She called again. The steps started again ever so quietly. “James.”

Very cute and funny. And I really enjoy this version of Jim's family. Thanks again!

Author's Response: oh, the pleasure is mine, i love the family i created. (since the family on the show totally sucks, as far as i can tell thus far.) thanks for the feedback!

Your version of Jim's family is absolutely my favorite version of Jim's family of all the versions that exist including the canon one.

Author's Response: thank you, that is so nice.  i am a big fan of jim's family, at least the one i created :)  what is up with his brothers on the show?  the. worst.  and very annoying.  i am going to try to find a way to live comfortably with them, though (more later).

Ha! Emily, this was like the proverbial happy pill. It totally read like a great little scene from a movie - I didn't so much read it as see it happening in my head. Especially loved when Jim and Pam try to sneak out and Larissa heads them off at the pass - perfect. As were the sib's reactions and finally Larissa's final line. (I like your Halpert clan a lot more than the one we've seen on the show, btw.) Happy Pesach indeed, Pam you lucky shiksa goddess, you ;-)

Author's Response: i must say - i am kind of surprised that folks are digging this fic!  i really wrote it for NanReg, but i'm happy that i am spreading some holiday cheer.  i don't think i am going to use ben and tate any longer (even though i abhor the creation of jim's annoying brothers), since i try to stay canon if at all possible, but i will miss them.

Okay, first of all, that was bloody excellent. I'm Jewish and that was like our family sedar nights, I'm 25 and STILL the bloody youngest lol. Add to that the hot Jim and Pam sex... LOVE IT!!!!!!

Author's Response: i'm so glad you enjoyed!  you'll really love my yom kippur series - coming out soon (although i set out to write it last year and it never happened.  yikes).

WOW!  I wish you could see how wide I'm grinning right now.  Just saw your response.  For real?  As I read your story, I envisioned the sound of sex wafting through the house because these kids are LOUD--they just can't help it.  Two options:  (a) we can have individual reactions, perhaps starting with brother and his mate, move to sis and husband and then the parents; OR, (b) we can have a group reaction, maybe talking amongst themselves or even trying to ignore what's going on.  Perhaps ending with the sheepish but oh-so-happy-and-satisfied-looking couple making their way back to the party in progress? I suspect that, despite his seemingly liberal and open-minded upbringing with his oh-so-cool family, our Jim hasn't attempted this before.  I'll take anything because I love your style...and I'm not above begging...

Epilogue or not, you're the best : )  Thanks for making my day.

Jewish!Jim?

I think I'm in love.

Author's Response: yesss! another jewishjim convert!  it's really the only way to go.  especially b/c we should all be preparing for the wedding, when jim will stomp the glass under the huppa... i like the image of jim wearing a yarmulke.  i think he'd really rock it.

Jim had a habit of mumbling nonsense when he was close – love Pam fuck fuck oh god shit – and hearing him unhinged only made her more aroused. She snaked one hand to her clit and stroked the skin there vigorously, a string of her own nonsense words coming from her mouth. Jim came, “Pam” on his lips.  HOTHOTHOTHOTHOT!

I would absolutely LOVE an epilogue to this quickie wherein the family reacts to the bathroom scene they undoubtedly heard.  You could bang that out in a couple minutes, right?  (TWSS)  Pretty please?

Author's Response: tell you what, and i'm not kidding.  sketch out what you'd like to see and i'll write it!

This made me fulfilled. Which came out dirtier than I'd anticipated, but oh well. Great job!

Author's Response: ...twss?  i have been all about horrible double entendres lately, but i've been hiding it by putting them into the mouths of characters.  whoops.  glad you liked it!
