This is absolutely beautiful. I am always on the lookout for Dwight/Angela stories and this is one of the best I’ve ever read. Your writing is so eloquent and you created an emotional, bittersweet atmosphere throughout the whole story. Your characterization feels so real and you succeeded in making Dwight, Angela AND Andy sympathetic characters. The part where Andy “introduces” Angela to Dwight is seriously heartbreaking. I’m so happy I found this and I was so sad when I got to the end! Thank you for writing this!

Wow, I'm so glad I came back to revisit this fic! I read it right after Goodbye, Toby and was floored by the respect you give all the characters and the eloquence with which you accomplish it. You make Andy just as sympathetic as Dwight and I really appreciated that because, to me at least, he's kind of an OK guy. Your handle on Angela is also extremely well done. You stay a safe distance away from making her overly religious and you really flesh out a lot of her psyche and thought process in a way that was very honest and real.

A salesman’s handshake. For some odd reason, this thought makes her terribly and inexplicably sad.

That line broke my heart right along with Angela's. Your writing is just so gorgeous and always so earnest. And now, going back, I realize that I may have been influenced by your description of Angela's Fourth of Julys when I wrote my story, it really was unintentional but I apologize anyways :| Overall, amazing story, amazing writing, amazing.

P.S. I adore your little shout out to the Cape :)

Author's Response: I haven't been in to check my own reviews in awhile, so I missed out on this one. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a kind review! I'm proud of this little story and a bit sad that it fell through the cracks a bit. But knowing that someone enjoyed it like you did makes up for it. :-) Thanks again!

This was seriously beautiful and heartbreaking. I think you wrote Angela so well. You kept the balance between her very Christian side but also this other side of her that you don't see very often. Just lovely!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Angela is one tricky character to write and I give the writers major props for doing it every week.

This was great! Insightful and well written and a good glimpse into Angela's mind and motivations. Great characterizations of her attraction to and admiration for Dwight but also how Andy is basically a good person. In a world of Jam, this was a great alternative flavor.

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Getting into Angela's mind was so tricky because I don't think I'm anything like her but I find her very compelling.

This was utterly fantastic! Thank you so much for writing it, as oddly enough, the finale left me with a craving for Dwangela stories more than JAM stories.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind words! I also felt really inspired and interested in Dwangela post-finale. And I figured the Jam bases would be covered. :-)
