I <3 your work, EL : ) This was on the light and quirky side for you, as opposed to the edgy and quirky side. I happen to enjoy both--a lot! In addition to seeing each other naked, Jim loved her and admired and respected her. And he was her best playmate, and she his. Sweet.

thank you so much... yes, agreed, it's pretty light and quirky. i didn't realize that i was edgy/quirky (as you say) until pretty much right now. sheesh. i like fun! i'm going to start thinking about that more...
the playmate thing is all about my girlfriend. when i'm on the computer, doing... well... posting stories to MTT :) sometimes she gets bored and demands her 'playmate' back. i think it's one of the more endearing things that she says to me, and since i think pam & jim are also playmates, i let them steal her line :)

Author's Response: i agree that drunk!jim was wasted (ha - no pun intended) in that scene. we've seen jim drunk a couple of times, but i'd love to see more of it in a better context.
