I just love the image of Dwight sending that package to Pam...it's so priceless. Great job once again, I love this story!

I just love the way you are telling the same story from Pam's and then Jim's perspectives!  Just enough touches to make the stories different.  I liked the teenage fangirls on the bus, too.

Just great all around!!

I'm in love with this story. I just needed you to know. Once.

No, seriously, it's gorgeously crafted, perfectly in-character, and lush with detail both big and important and boring, small, and everyday. (And I'm blushing with that shout-out! I hope your stories don't go AU just because they're so lovely.)

I feel like I've arrived...having a pink tub duck named after me is like the fanfic equivalent of having a namesake sandwich at the Carnegie Deli ;-)

So many details I loved here - the girls on the bus, the Dwight scene, Jim wanting to talk dirty to her but can't help being embarrassed, the proposal redux...and may I say that her kissing his fingertips was somehow a very sexy, lovely detail. Hmm. Sweet (but not sugary) and lots o'fun. More, please.

Um, can we talk about how much I love this for a second? Because I do. So much. I love this as much as Jim loves Pam (so a whole lot).

Adorable. Awesome. All kinds of wonderful A words.

Yay!  I'm so happy to see this was updated.  It's so nice to see this from Jim's point of view.

Interesting twist with the show airing in real time. I hadn't thought of that, and it puts their relationship in a new perspective, I think.

I love how Jim is so happy that Pam is growing and learning as an artist.  He's very selfless here, and I love that quality about him.  Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review, kells. Based on the fact that we're seeing it in real time and that this has been an important aspect of the show since S2, I didn't even give the real time thing a second thought. Though it does introduce interesting problems wrt how much the characters know about one another via the show... but we won't worry about that right now. :)

This series is amazing. Just the one element of exploring Jim's Jewish background adds such richness and depth. I loved the other story, and this seems on track to be just as good.

Author's Response: Thank you, toomeyism. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I hope to have the third part up early next week.

I'm happy to see another fic from you, Talkative. Your writing is so beautiful and descriptive, and you manage to pack a huge amount of emotion and imagery into each story. I really like the description of the photograph that Jim finds in Pam's old stuff.

Author's Response: You know, second drink, even though it's flashbacky, I really like that part, too. Thanks for pointing it out and thanks for your review.

::sigh:: Ben DOES sound like a douche. lol. But Jim so does NOT sound like a douche.  Your Jim is awesome here. I very much enjoyed this!

Author's Response: I'm glad you like him. Do you think Greg & Co. will let me keep him? Probably not, huh?

Wow...you just know exactly how to capture Jim and Pam! And with each fic you constantly outdo yourself. The atmosphere of this fic is great. Pam and Jim are both doing their own thing in two different places, but everything they do is intertwined in a way that's natural and really shows how they feel for each other. The description and phrasing and imagery was just beautiful. Thanks for much for sharing, I can't wait for more!

Author's Response: I'm flattered, honey, and your description of their relationship is precisely what I was aiming for here. Thanks for all of your compliments.

Absolutely beautiful. I loved this story, you have a wonderful way with a descriptive phrase. It makes me feel like I'm experiencing a sweltering NY summer. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to part three. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Author's Response: See, Elle, it's very simple - I just sit in the kitchen with my laptop and the oven door open. Viola - a NYC summer! rnrn:)rnrnThanks for your kind review. I'm glad you like it.

YES! Thank you! This series is going to mess. me. up. /Kelly.

Author's Response: Thanks, Mountaineer. I'm pretty sure Kelly's going to be wandering into part three. I think. Maybe?

Heh.  Jim's a badass.  Love it.

Author's Response: No, Jim is a giant nerd who talks a killer game when he's on the phone. But let's let him pretend, okay? I'd hate to upset him.

I love this series so much. Favorite of the post-season four Pam in New York stories. Everything is just a breathy sigh and gentle caress, even the angst.

Author's Response: Aw, shucks. Your favorite? Thanks. I'm trying not to be too angsty, as I fear that there will be plenty of that to go around come fall. Glad you're enjoying it.

What a treat to see this story from Jim's pov. Love the scene with the bubbies - is it wrong that you've left me with an image of Bar Mitzvah Boy Jim and I find him strangely...compelling? Also, really like how you describe his insecurity in the club scene (and the brief but blazing heat of the following tub one) and his reaction to Ben - Sounds like a douchebag. Perfect. Once more, you've created a scenario that feels very natural and character-specific and you have me psyched to read more. (And btw, I think our stars must be aligned - I'm putting the finishing touches on another Pam Does Brooklyn follow-up fic too. Probably won't post for a few days and it's totally different, but still. There must be something in the cyber water ;-)

Author's Response: Oh, Colette... perhaps we should have joined forces and used our powers for good. :) rnrnYeah, Bar Mitzvah Jim is slammin' hot. But, speaking from personal experience, you have *got to* watch out for those Jewish boys. Lots and lots of compelling to go around. rnrnThanks for your review.
