"He’d been in love with Pam for almost three years, and there was something about the summers that made him own up to this and want to change it." Too real.

Yep. This was what that summer was like. 100%.

Very nice! These little glimpses into what we didn’t see always make my day.

Wow, I really enjoyed this story. you captured moments really well. I also, have a vague recollection of seeing a pre season 4 promo about Michael taking the whole office to see Knocked Up, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Its not even on the summer promo on the season 4 DVD.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review - it's always lovely to see your old stories get new reviews :) And thank you for confirming I wasn't crazy about that Knocked Up promo! I just can't find it anywhere ;_;

Great ending. I love that Pam went to Stamford and Jim decided to go there to so he could create some good memories there. I'm sorry to see this end, it really was a wonderful story.

Author's Response: Thank you! I was worried that it was gonna be incredibly cheesy or something...

"By Friday, the air conditioning is still broken, and morale at work is at... well, no one can really say “an all-time low,” because one of the defining characteristics of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton is that the bottom keeps dropping out, but morale is terrible"

“I love you, Jim.” If there’s one thing Pam loves almost as much as Jim, it’s the way his face looks after she says that, always."

Such unbelievably great lines in this chapter. I truly can't believe this story didn't get more reviews.

Another fabulous chapter.  Another favorite line:

"Pam gets incredibly tired of both chicken and fish after just two weeks, but she keeps accepting Roy’s food with a small smile, because the sooner he doesn’t have the evidence wrapped in tinfoil in his freezer, the sooner they can forget, or at least try to forget."

I'm catching up on my reading due to my own real-life caused hiatus, and am so glad I found this before it dropped off the "most recent" page.  This is really, really good.  This was full of great lines, but this one especially caught my eye:

"He has that reoccurring dream, or rather nightmare, wherein the camera crews come back and Paul and Jen, the heads of filming, cheerfully tell him they’ll no longer need the confessional interviews because they’ve got magical cameras that can read minds."

Author's Response: Thank you so much!

Oh. Hi.

Don't mind me.

I'm just reviewing again so I can give this puppy some stars. And and and -

"He has that reoccurring dream, or rather nightmare, wherein the camera crews come back and Paul and Jen, the heads of filming, cheerfully tell him they’ll no longer need the confessional interviews because they’ve got magical cameras that can read minds."

Author's Response: Many thanks again. Feel free to review as many times as possible. ;)

Oh, this is a wonderful story, tunette. Great concept, well-crafted prose, excellent characterization. So many funny lines, but this -

Make this AU, Greg, and face my wrath.

- cracked me up. I'm dreading having to go back to my summer '08 stories to relabel them AU. I wonder how many happy thoughts we'll have to think to stop it?

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I prefer to think really depressing thoughts but NOT say them out loud, because then they will come true.

Your sucky commute is our gain...  OK, I am amused at the "Knocked Up" reference. HooHusband was flipping through the channels last night and we saw the 2 seconds of "Unaccompanied Minors" that BJ was in and we both yelped.

ITA that Jim probably proposed in the next 24 hours after that freaking Andy ruined everything.

Love this part in the 3rd chapter: "well, no one can really say “an all-time low,” because one of the defining characteristics of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton is that the bottom keeps dropping out"

And technically, the summer has just started, so I hope this means more to come from you!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad some good comes of my awful commute. :) There will be more, I hope...
