I loved this, especially that Jim kept one of the origami doves in his wallet. And the "I got your note" was such a perfect ending to a great story!

Sweet and very them. They're both the sort to keep small reminders like the medals and doves.
I always thought she must have agonized over what to write on that note, even though it was so short.
