I love this. You may say it's self indulgent but it's just generally great. I love the idea of them looking for Jim's passion together.

This was a lovely, moody piece. I could envision Jim being in this place:
"I want that," he breathed, sounding like a child who couldn't exactly describe what they wanted for their birthday. "Whatever that is . . . I need to know what its like. But I have no idea."
. . .and when he touches her charcoal fingers. *sigh*

This was so beautiful, flonkerton. I couldn't resist reading it again as soon as I finished!
I loved this...
He can practically see her dreams flowing from her mind to her hand to the paper. He can spot her love, her feeling of comfort, her sense of self. He wonders what it feels like to know who you are.
And this just, gah. Perfect...
He contemplates it, rolling it over in his head. The clear word that pops into his head pours off his lips.
"Safe."
Amazing story. Definitely made me feel better after an evening of no new ads! lol

Thank you for this story. I know the more and more we learn about the characters and invest in them the more we worry for their well being. Me anyway. :) You just want what's best for Jim and Pam...Pam is on her way to finding that and Jim...Jim needs his nudge. This was a great story that explored some of those questions and concerns. I liked it a lot.

Wonderful. One of my favorite things about S3 was how deeply they developed Pam's hopes/dreams/aspirations/core self, and I just hope TPTB do the same with Jim here sometime soon. This was a beautiful, beautiful little moment to that effect. Thanks for sharing! :)
