I'm assuming this is based during S3? One word comes to mind when I read this is haunting. You wrote Pam's conflicting emotions very well and that part about her dream? My gosh, so sad! I usually avoid angst-y fics but I like the title (a crescent moon is so pretty) so I decided to give it a try and was glad that I did. Hopefully you'll continue since I'm very interested to see where you'll take this.

I have a question though: Do you like the pairing Dwight & Angela? I'm curious because of your penname :o)

Author's Response: Yes, it is based during S3. And thank you very much! I agree with you, cresent moons are gorgeous. I'm so glad you tried an angsty-fic! Most of mine are (except Picket Fence and 55 Words on Kissing in the Rain). I tend to write angst better than fluff. rnAnd yes, I love Dwight and Angela together (Dwight+Angela: Dwangela, so I just shortened it to "Dwangie"). Too bad they aren't together anymore!rnAnyway, thanks so much for your lovely comment!

You do a great job with these angsty fics. They are heartbreakingly sad and you can really feel the pain that Pam is going through.

My favorite part:  "She’s had hope for something that isn’t anything for entirely too long. Unfortunately, the thing about hope is that it stares her in the face, especially after she’s decide to give it up. Then, it climbs on her back and follows her around all day until she admits that he should have kept it in the first place."

Author's Response: Thank you!!! I like that excerpt too! :)
