I'm glad you finally posted this :) I think by now everyone knows how I feel about the Karen/Jim/Pam/Roy situation, so all I'll say is good job!

Author's Response: Yay! Thanks! I'm so glad you think so! It's nice to get compliments from a writer I love, so, yeah.rnrnAnd I have to say again, I LOVE your pen name! The whole Oscar party thing cracks me up...from the Jam prank to the Mexican lemonade to gayness vs. mexicanness to "For me?"...

Nicely done. I'm no Karen fan, but you made me feel sympathy for her and really highlighted the impossible situation she was in. I always thought that Jim's simple "Yes" in that episode was, in many ways, the one most important pivotal scene of the season.

Author's Response: Exactly the point of the story! Thanks, I'm so glad you liked it! And I agree -Jim's "yes" (not yeah or mhm, but YES) was one of the top three...I'd list them as being "yes," "I'm really glad I'm with Karen," and "There were a lot of reasons to call of my wedding, but the truth is that I didn't care about any of those reasons until I met you." They just all capture those feelings so perfectly. Of course, I LOVED the ask-out, but those three mean more, I think.

Really good, FrenchSwiss Border.  I've always been squarely Team Pam, but you made me really feel sorry for Karen.  She was in a tough situation.  Glad you posted this.  Nice job.

Author's Response: Thanks! So glad you liked it! I've always been 100% Team Pam in terms of who would win Jim, but I really like both Pam and Karen as individual characters. Just like the love triangle my pen name refers to (BxExJ). At one point on a message board, I'd said that if Edward was France and Jacob was Austria, I'd be on the "French-Swiss Border."

I didn't understand how Jim and Karen got from "If you get an offer, you should take it" to Karen implying in Travelling Salesmen that she moved just for Jim. Interesting way of filling in the blanks.

Author's Response: Thanks! I didn't really write it for that purpose, but I'm thrilled that you got something else out of it. rnrnBut even if Jim hadn't asked her out or vice-versa before they left Stamford, I think the main reason Karen would have gone to Scranton would have been because of Jim.
