Wow...I'm sort of speechless right now. I couldn't believe it when I saw that this story was complete. And then I started reading...
The ending was such a perfect end to everything. The honesty between the two of them at last was just so great! It was what I kept hoping they would get around to do, clear the air and move on together. The Valentine's gift and more talking. And of course, the last chapter ;o)
::sigh:: I have to echo the sentiments of other reviewers about hating to see this end but with an ending like that? Well...I guess I can't complain ;o)
Overall, this was a great and enjoyable story. Thank you for sharing.

It's very gratifying to hear that you thought the ending worked so well. As I was writing it, I hoped that it would be viewed as remaining very "in character " for what we've come to understand about what kind of people Jim and Pam are...even though we haven't been privy to anything nearly so explicit. And as I said in an earlier response, as I wrote the ending, it just seemed that when it came right down to it, that once the air was cleared, both Jim and Pam would be quite able (and willing) to let the depth of their true feelings for each other take over. Wow. Read the last chapter last night but I was in a rush so I had to come back and read it through again. I'm a fan of smut anyway, but this was a lovely mix, incorporating so much of the connection between them that makes Jam so addictive to me. Thanks for a great story, I really enjoyed it. I really hope you'll do more!

I'd never included any "smut" in any of my earlier "fics"...so I was a bit apprehensive about writing it...but I planned from the very beginnng to inlcude some streamy stuff in this story...so I just buckled down and sort of ploughed ahead...figuratively speaking. From readers' reactions, it seems to have hit the mark. Glad you enjoyed it...and feel free to go back and read it again, anytime.

that's all i can say. well not really: this was seriously the best fanfiction i have ever read, i loved how often you updated it, i would check every few days to see that you had 8 or 9 more chapters, i was always so excited to read them!
i started reading when you first started writing it. i probably would have not read it if i had seen the length after because it would be daunting.
there were some points where i was confused and kind of disappointed of what happened. Like where Pam kisses Jim, i just was so confused by Jim's reaction, i had no idea where you were gonna go with this at all!
and i must say, that so many times while i was reading i just would have the biggest smile on my face. after something happens either at the end of chapters because i am anticipating something exciting or especially during the uncomfortable situations for both of them and you could see the old Jim breaking through. :)
also that last chapter was without a doubt the best smut fanfic ever, and it was so well written i could picture everything! sometimes i'll read a fanfic that just has a story and sometimes i'll read one that has smut, but this was the best of both worlds!
this was just amazing, hands down the best Fan Fiction i've read here

And I know what you mean about being confused...but I think both Jim and Pam were confused about so much with regard to each other during the time after Jim came back to Scranton...and I wanted to respect that as one of the themes running through my story. NOTE: I just hope that these last few chapters weren't too diificult for you (or anyone else for that matter) to follow as I just found out that it seems that after posting a good number of the spaces between paragraphs were somehow eliminated and everything sort of got jumbled up. I've gone in and re-edited Chapters 50 and 51 and hopefully the problem has been corrected. Sorry if it was too confusing for anyone...but when I posted them last night everything seemed fine.

Gaahhh! And there it is. Wow. I really love the last paragraph and the statement that words couldn't express the emotions they were feeling. I've always imagined their first time to be something where they let loose all the bottled up love they had, and you sure captured that!
I so enjoyed reading this. I truly have looked forward to seeing the updates and waiting for that moment when they were finally truthful to each other. You should feel proud of your story, because it was just a masterpiece. And damn, you can write some sexay! I will be rereading that...like, right now.
Author's Response: You know...as I was thinking about how Jim and Pam would be with each other when "it" finally happened....my thinking was leaning toward them being fairly tentative and usnsure with each other...but as I actually wrote, it was like their characters were telling me "no...they've waited for this much, much too long to sort of not just dive right in and let their emotions carry them away"...so that's how the words came out. I'm glad. And, once again...thanks for all the kind words and support.

OMG!! That was incredible!! I registered just to tell you how much I enjoyed this! The entire story kept me checking every night for new chapters. I just couldn't wait! I think I stopped breathing while reading some of the chapters with the tension and then with them finally coming together. And the ending was unbelievably sexy and sweet!!
The dance was wonderful -- I could see them and practically feel it myself. And then I loved how you had them honestly talk about what each one had done to the other.
And what can I say about their first time -- WOW!! I also need a cigarette after that! But it was so them -- I could feel their amazement at actually and finally being with each other -- not just sexually, but in every way. And how they just smiled at each other at the end -- perfect!

Wow. Incredible. The way you had Pam describe what she went through after Casino Night was just heartbreaking. This part definitely explains a lot about Pam's actions:
“So what did that make me, Jim? Just some scared little girl who was afraid of the truth...who refused to admit what she really felt. So, who would want to be with somebody like that, right...somebody like me! That's why I never told you about canceling the wedding. I thought you'd given up on me. I didn't think you cared anymore.”
I am so looking forward to all of the "only happy thoughts" and actions that are ahead. Yay!

That scene you described of them, dancing to Ol' Blue Eyes (love his music!), all their feelings so close to the surface...so romantic. In fact, I had to re-read it because for a moment, I forgot it was just the two of them!
Now we're getting somewhere! Loving the fact that the tension between Jim and Pam resulted in such a hot kiss. Long time coming, I tell ya! (TWSS?)
