i totally understood what is meant by Kristy and Mary Anne and Claudia's house.... i so enjoyed those books when I was little... i owned like all of them. i met the author, owned the movie... wow, bringing me back to my childhood....
and then the fact that i still babysit :)

Jim was so good with Abby in TYDTWD; I can totally imagine him enjoying taking care of Sasha. (Not to mention the deleted talking head about it.) Anyway, cute story!
