It was just her...and this place...and married. And her.

Can I just say how much I love this line, and how it's the best use of italics ever? I wouldn't worry about substance, plot lines are way overated. Nothing makes a very, very good story as well!

Boring can be very, very good! The way you have the bits of humor (threshold and the spider) really makes this story great for me. I'll favorite this one for sure :)

This killed me dead: He just happened to pay attention - for a long, long time.

And I bet Pam looked absolutely devastating in that dress. And Married!Jim is hotter than Engaged!Jim.  From the 3 minutes of him we've seen so far  ;o)

Author's Response: Seriously right? Freakin HOT-TASTIC is Married! Jim.  I really loved the top of that dress in the hallway when Pam was talking to Angela.  I remember taking note of new jewlery too and thought she probably looked so pretty and wished that Jim would have seen her in all that.  So there you go - fanfic to the rescue. hahaha. Thanks Lisa!!!

Have you ever seen that movie When a Man Loves a Woman with Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia?  Well - it's pretty depressing but there's this scene at the very beginning where she picks him up in a bar like this.  Of course - it involved hard liquor and not Ginger Ale but...you know.   :)

I've always loved that scene - but I think I love this one more. :)

Author's Response: Hugs...that is one my FAVORITE movies of all time.  You're right, it is depressing for the most part but there are some amazing scenes in that movie.  Oddly enough i didn't have that movie in mind when I wrote this....although perhaps subconciously.  Such kind words, thank you SO MUCH!

The only thing wrong with this, lovefool, is that I didn't want it to be over!

Author's Response: hahah! I never want it to be over when I'm writing, so I'm SO glad you feel the same! Thanks Nan!

I'm loving this story :) Her tears when it hits her (yet again I'm sure) just how much he noticed and how long he waited for her - perfect. (I often think that these two must want to weep for all that time they lost back then... but I'm sure they do not dwell too often :))

Author's Response: I'm sure that moments like these are especially poignant for Pam...when everything is SO perfect. But I bet they've moved on from regrets seeing as their future is just so great!

Love :)

aww. i love this story so much! great job as always, LoveFool. nice try with the pick up lines, and jim scooting towards pam - nice touch. i love how honest and comfortable they are around each other in this story, a very admirable writing style i must admit. great job, and keep going!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying the story! Keep reading!

LoveFool. Words cannot express how much I'm loving this fic. It's fun, it's sexy, in an odd way it's comfortable. It's exciting and heartfelt and it's everything I want Jim's and Pam's honeymoon to be and more. Thank you for posting it!

Author's Response: Oh...I LOVE that word: comfortable.  That's exactly what I feel when I think of Jim and Pam. There's something oddly comforting about them. I'm SO glad that comes across in the story. Thanks so much!

This is so sickeningly sweet.  AND I LOVE EVERY WORD.  So continue.  I have pics in my mind of the two adorkable honeymooners, clad in their underpants, sharing a quilt and pillows on the couch, doing nothing but eating, snuggling, giggling and watching TV, interspersed with nooky and naps.  Just perfect.  Pam needs to do some silly sketches on the Statler Falls Hotel notepad too as a remembrance.

keep it coming. keep it coming. i love this story so much! keep it coming!

p.s. why do authors ALWAYS reply to comments in proper english? here i am in my all lowercase type, now i feel so weird. Haha, look at me, I can be proper, too. Wow, I'm tired. Look at me typing in the comment box about absolutely nothing!

I'll let you go, dear LoveFool, before you loose all respect for me. And I'm gone...

lol. i really do like writing reviews though! i find them a lot easier to write than actual stories or one-shots. (perhaps why i've only written my shower story.... yuck, that was a weird one....)

must stop writing. must do homework. must stop writing. must do homework... but MTT is so tempting. will read as i fall asleep. cute fluff-filled bedtime stories! i can't wait!

well at least someone likes them. i felt very clever as i wrote that. keep going, and you will have more honey bbq-ed reviews of goodness coming. (that was pathetic, though).

Author's Response: That's what I think! I think them just BEING is adorable. lol. If I could just write a story where they LAY together and say nothing, I would! lol

oh my god, that was adorable. this story i find is kind of like seinfeld, all about nothing, yet delightful and oh-so addicting. (wasn't that an awesome analogy?!?) i just love this story, that's all. PLEASE KEEP GOING, are you going to deny pamelamorganhalpert the Honey BBQ Wings-like goodness of this story? lol, i'm talking gibberish here.

Author's Response: That WAS an awesome analogy! Thank you so much! And keep going with the analogies...they are making me laugh.

You are the queen of Jim and Pam banter. This is adorable. I loved this line because it describes Jim after the wedding exactly as you could imagine:
"sort of this blissful state of intoxicated fatigue"
I also love that he doesn't like marshmallows in ice cream. Good man.

Author's Response: Oh, a fellow marshmallow hater? EXCELLENT - me too...well, wait - I should qualify that. I like them in S'mores but I think that's the only place they belong. lol. They certainly don't belong in my ice cream!  Thanks so much for being such a loyal reader and reviewing Ms. Jazzfan!

Lovely chapter, just so happy and true. Again, it totally reminds me of me and my husband on our honeymoon. Except for the pregnancy part. And Jim and Pam are much better looking.

It's amazing how something small and beautiful like this can make me feel so much better about pretty much everything. Thank you. And don't stop here!

Author's Response: Ah! You know, I'm on such a J&P high right now...I just want to keep it going!  This helps!  Glad it's working for you too. :-)
