Lol, this was really cute. I love the idea! I do have a little critique though. The third sentence, last work I think should be 'work' rather than 'worked'. Some of the sentences seemed a little abrupt like the American Idol one - I also would have loved to have seen this expanded a bit, but I'm not sure there's enough for a second chapter.

Sorry to sound so negative, I hate to critique so much when things are posted, but hey, I think we're supposed it give friendly comments in the reviews every once in a while. I guess they say it makes us better writers.

I loved Elaine and Pam's idea to call a friend, that was great!

Author's Response:

You know what, I read that sentence a thousand times after this comment, and couldn't figure out what you meant by worked/work. It took me searching for the phrase to find it. I guess I just kept reading what I wanted to read instead of what was actually written. And the AI comment, I tried as I might to expand it, even just a second sentence, but I never liked what I came up with.

Thanks for the review!

Cute stuff! But one question... the light bulb decorations aren't to be plugged into a lamp or anything, right? Wouldn't the heat melt the decoration? Just a thought... :)

Author's Response: That's why they were dead lightbulbs. Was actually based on an idea on a craft project I used when looking for stuff for the kids to do.
