I thought this was really sweet. The gift really suits Jim at the time. I like how it was very sweet and thoughtful, but simple and not too overtly romantic, like he wanted to lay down a heavy hint, but not cross a line. It captures what his gestures were like then. Lovely idea.

I love how they fell in love over pranking Dwight. I think you caught the tone of his pre-Casino Night angst very nicely.

Author's Response: Thank you nqllisi! I appreciate your review.  I'm glad I could do the character of Jim justice!

He likes that he can be the one to make the pink come back into her face. That line broke my heart, msteapot.  This little story of yours captures Jim's unrequited love and longing.  Nicely done.

Author's Response:

One of the best compliments I've ever gotten! Thank you NanReg! I love knowing I made somebody actually feel something -- I appreciate your review :)

Oh surprise ending! I thought this was really sweet, and could totally imagine it as a legit prank they could've pulled!

Author's Response:

Thank you! Writing the prank was difficult, I am DEFINITELY not as creative as Jim & Pam, haha!

Author's Response:

Thank you Moogie Man! I wasn't planning on it being a multiple chapter story, but maybe!
