Not overly sugary -- just perfect! Don't apologize for the fluff! And you leave just enough unsaid that we can fill in the blanks and anticipate what comes next. And this is a totally believeable pace for Pam & Jim to take -- full of promise :o)

We all could use a little schmaltz now and then! Anyway, I don't think this was schmaltzy...it has a lot of heart, and I like how you ended it in a quietly sweet way (not to mention with Jim wearing the killer sweater/shirt combo.)

Okay, I really loved this. I don't think it was overly-schmaltzy at all. I like the idea that Jim comes back and they just figure it out, you know? Like it's not a big dramatic thing, but he loves her, and she loves him, and they're both available, and they're friends, so it should happen pretty naturally, right? RIGHT??
Heh. Anyways, really liked it. But I want to know what exactly he put in that Christmas card!
