I love the way you've handled the Jan-Ryan conflict bursting out into the open (and that she ends up with Hunter), and the overheard conversation between Holly and Pam seems very genre-appropriate. Also nice to see Jim looking out for Holly here!

Dernhelm, I say this every time & I mean it - this is so, so great! So much happens in this chapter, between Ryan and Jan, and then making it clear that Toby likes Pam, and then Holly’s conversation with Pam! I hope Jim heard and understood all of it! I’m so glad you had her clearly say that it wasn’t Roy that she loved, or Toby, hopefully that will makes things a lot clearer for Jim.
I love this so much. I feel like we’re getting so close to Pam and Jim finally understanding one another!

Well done, the salon room intrigue and all the baseless accusations was a highlight for me. Of course the closing of the chapter was as well, how could it not be. I for one hope jimothy heard all of it and gets his act together, bit I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
Great writing, as seems standard around these parts.

Very interesting chapter. Of course Toby's interested in Pam. Nice call back to canon there. Also glad Pam's not interested in him in the slightest. Nice way for things to start to mend between Jim and Pam here. I was kind of hoping for more of a confrontation between the two of them after the last chapter. However the end of this one is a bit more easy to work with. Here's hoping that Jim heard enough of Pam's conversation to get the ball rolling a bit more.
