God the end of chapter 6 I was screaming at the screen begging Pam to see past Roy and his lie. I’ve been fully invested in this story for the very beginning and wow it’s just getting better after each chapter. It’s one of those stories I know will end someday and I know that it will but wow that will be bitter sweet.

Yeah, that took a big turn. I don't care what kind of condition Roy is in right now, he deserves that broken arm, the legal troubles, and for Pam to again tell him to F-off right there in front of everyone. Not only because of the drunk driving but because he's being a manipulative asshole.
Don't fall for it Pam. You've just broke free of all that. You know how much better things are with Jim. Hold your ground girl!
Just when we think things are winding down, you pull this on us. Great twist to be sure.

I’m so, so behind on reviewing this story, but it’s wonderful. I love the premise of changing the timeline of Lecture Circuit. There’s no way a road trip with Jim and Pam wouldn’t end in resolved sexual tension! I’m almost a little surprised you didn’t really lean into the trope & have them forced to share a hotel room - with one bed. Adjoining rooms definitely does the trick too! I’m interested to see how you navigate Pam finalizing her break up with Roy and what will come next for things with Jim. Lovely writing as always!

I think it's very appropriate that Jim is ahead of Pam when it comes to voicing his feeling like this. He's loved her for years whereas she's only just dumped Roy. Clearly there are deeper than friendship levels of feelings for her but I totally get why she's not quite ready to voice them though. Good boy Jim for understanding that too. I really like that you have him understanding what a huge change this is for her and that she needs some time to really process it all. At the same time telling her that she's it for him. Good clear discussion on where he stands. No chance of misinterpretations shall we say.
You did have me going for a moment with the talk of California. Considering some of the twists and turns with this story, I could see how that would have been another big one. Plausible and as you wrote very tempting to be sure. Still it's good that they do go back to Scranton to tie everything off that needs tying off.
Delightful fluff between the two of them throughout this chapter. From their extra moments in bed at night and in the morning to their calm companionship through the rest of the trip. Lovely to see them simply basking in their shared chemistry. Looking forward to seeing how things go now that they're back home.

Yeah, I think we all knew that Roy had somehow cheated on the 4th of July based on last chapter. Having the details though did round out the story so that was good. Very plausible initial reaction too. Clearly it's a time of turmoil for Pam. Good on Jim for just being there for her as the initial shock hits her.
I like how they both realize that their initial kisses, while very stimulating are also probably more based on just gut level reaction rather than anything really solid. Taking the step back to collect themselves and calm down a touch was good. However their natural chemistry shines through. Granted there's still fear that it's all a rebound, but friendship and feelings they have for each other are real and you write that nicely. So when they reach for each other again it feels welcome and warm rather than just the passion of a moment.Maybe a little rushed, but at the same time getting Jim and Pam together is always fun so allowances can be made.
Very vivid and descriptive writing as well to really drawn in the reader. Great update, can't wait to read more.

Awww, I like the previous chapter, but I absolutely adore this one. Their confusion and reactions are so realistic, and I like the way how Pam tried to downplay 'the bed incident.' Roy... well, his response is entirely predictable. I hope you give us a full story about what had happened on July the Fourth. But, to be honest, I anticipate the continuation of interactions between Jim and Pam more than that :)

And wow, this took a turn I was not expecting. Stupid Roy. I have always felt he was a low-key cheater.

Yeah, that really ramps things up. Okay, so we'll just start there at the beginning shall we. All sorts of tension in the Stamford hotel room. I mean you've got the air just buzzing with everything going on. I liked how you treated how they got more of clue as to their feelings for each other. Seeing the episode of Frasier play out and they both realize what's happening with them. Then that kiss. All sorts of heavy implications there. It felt very similar to Casino Night for sure, but the thing here is they can't run away from the other one.
So that gives them both time to think. Time to calm down and get over some things. But then just when we think we're heading back down a path to Jim and Pam being friends, that call from Roy.
And we're right back to things getting even more ramped up. Gotta say good on ya Pam for standing up for yourself. She's 100% right, if they can't trust each other they shouldn't get married. Jim's protective streak is in fine form as well. Then to end it like that with her throwing herself into his arms. Yeah, that makes for a great cliffhanger.
Eagerly awaiting what comes next since this chapter was so good.

I love this and the dynamic between Pam and Karen feels so real. The tension and the slight sense of superiority in Karen feels very much like jealous Karen later in season three. The sour ending hopefully doesn’t last too long, even beautifully written angry and sad Jam is hard to read. Again beautiful story love to see more of it soon.

Yes! Chapter 2! So much angst.
Oh, these two. Always dancing around their feelings. Each leaving just enough out there so they know there is something between them but both to scared to come out and say it.
After they have the night apart to think about each other, I hope Jim tries to get her to confess why she was so upset at dinner. I hope Pam sends him a message that keeps him from wanting to leave Scranton! So many possibilities!
I really like the inner dialogue. Keep up the great work!

Great chapter when it comes to emotional content. Starting out fun, flirty, hopeful even. I kinda figured things would get awkward when they hit Stamford. The job offer might have been the fuse that lit off the more intense emotions and then when they hit they hit hard. Pam's disappearance at dinner, their stiff manner at the hotel. Great way of bringing that all out. Now comes the interesting part. Will they be honest with each other about their feelings? Will they continue to dance around each other? Next chapter should be really interesting to be sure. Great writing.
