Bravo! Fantastic job with the Dundies.

Oh man, that's a very different context for that line...a very exciting cliffhangery one. I am very glad you decided to give us this version of the Dundies and I'm interested in where we go!

Author's Response:

I'm glad I can keep you on your toes, we'll see what happens next soon, I promise! Good to hear that you liked my take on the Dundies, it was a lot of fun to write.

Thanks for reviewing!

Now you've done it. You've really entered the fold of MTT writers by leaving a nasty cliffhanger like that. I mean it's a good place to leave it, but still. Just kidding, since of course I've left my fair share of evil cliffhangers so all's good.

Lots of fun here. Nice touch having the warehouse crew leave like that. Of course it happened in canon, but rather than a bit of disappointment, we get just instant relief. Drunk Pam was adorable as she usually is. Can't wait to see how this all pans out.

Author's Response:

Had, I couldn't not when I was writing it, I kept going for a little but then moved the extra to next chapter figuring this would be a good fit. Glad you can empathize.

I'm glad you liked the chapter, I wanted the warehouse crew to be there long enough to bring the mood down, but then I banished them because, really, nobody likes those guys. Except Darryl, but he's just too cool for the warehouse anyway. Drunk Pam was and is a joy to write, so hopefully we'll see where this goes in a bit.

Thanks for reviewing!

Awesome update! Nice cliff hanger too. My reaction was very close to, "NOOOOO!" So it worked.

I am intrigued to see what you have up your sleeve for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm really glad that you liked the chapter.

Catching up with the story!
Oh, like all Michael's ideas, this also backfired on him... and Pam. Poor girl, allergies are the worst. And yet, I feel a little sympathy for Angela here. I don't know why, maybe it's a cat person solidarity, or it's me being scared of big dogs, no matter how friendly and adorable they are...
But. There was another great moment, and I'm talking about "You give the best hugs." It's just... dawwww. And very, very promising!

Author's Response:

Glad you're enjoying it, I had a lot of fun writing those scenes. The best hugs line was definitely meant to inspire d'awws, so thanks!

I’m so excited for the Dundies in this world! I like that you’re having a bit of time pass. I think it’s healthy for Pam to have a bit of time single before diving into the rest of her life with Jim. There is no super casual dating as far as those two are concerned... It’s also lovely to see the friendship that Pam is building with Larissa.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you're looking forward to these Dundies, I hope I won't disappoint! My thoughts exactly on letting time pass, jumping straight from one long term relationship to another doesn't seem like a great start.

Thanks for taking the time to review!

I did enjoy the timelapse, and I'm looking very much forward to your version of the Dundies! I do have to ask: did any of the "increased male attention" come from Jim, and did she notice?

Author's Response:

Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Come to think of it, I honestly didn't even consider it while writing the chapter. Let's just say that Jim is really good at wearing a mask by this point, and stealing glances while nones the wiser.

Thanks for reviewing! I really look forward to rewriting the dundies too.

Nice way to bring the plot forward a bit for Pam's sake. However it feels like something needs to break soon. Nice job.

Author's Response:

Tension has indeed been rising, we will soon be at the breaking point.

Thanks for your feedback!

I like how Pam is progressing in her life slowly. I thin enough time has passed from her break up. Hopefully she advances more with Jim in the Dundies.
I have to say I look forward to a new chapter each day. Thank you for keeping us entertained during these times. Lots of jellybeans!!

Author's Response:

That is certainly the hope, we'll see how it goes. The next chapter may take more than a day, but I'll do my best!

Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad to be writing something that you look forward to!

Love the update! My best friend is a civil engineer, I'll be telling her about your story and I'm sure she'll love it!

Author's Response:

Uh oh! I cannot promise accurate descriptions of anything! I was in the faculty of engineering for a year, but that was for comp. Eng.

Still, glad you enjoyed the update, thanks for reviewing!

Ah Princess Bride, what a great movie.

Lots of really good introspection with everything here. Nice to see Pam's thoughts really starting to go to more than friendship. Kind of a confusing time for her to be sure.

Same goes for Jim. I'm thinking he's going to need some kind of big Jim moment here. Considering this is well before when he gives her the teapot there's plenty of room for something like that.

Nicely done with this chapter. I think you wrote it well.

Author's Response:

I'm really glad you liked the introspection, that's the most I've done of that ever and it took a couple revisions.

Thanks for your continued encouragement and reviews!

P.S. The Princess Bride was my childhood at the grandparents, so yeah, totally agreed.

This is so good!!! I love the will-they-won't-they dynamic interspersed with Pam actually getting a real friendship. Looking forward to reading more!

Author's Response:

Thanks! I needed some way for Pam to still grow like she did post season 2, so this is sort of her substitute, hopefully with less crying and heartbreak.

Thanks for reviewing!

Progress!!! Pam is finally getting a clue. I wonder how this will play out. Hopefully more fluffy fun

Author's Response: Definitely fluff, no doubt about that. Thanks for your review!

Oh, I love the prank on Dwight. So simple, so basic, such a classic Dwightish reaction. Good job.

I like your Larissa! She seems like a good friend for Pam and sibling for Jim, so thus ideal.

And I am enjoying their unwillingness to talk to each other--very in character, but nice to have them on the same page even if they don't know it yet.

Author's Response:

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, I was really nervous about this one!

Thanks for your feedback!

The Creed moment? Perfection.

“I could hardly bring one of them in, idiot,” Dwight admonished, “They are working animals, they have no place in an office; Mose, on the other hand, is great at mundane tasks.”
Okay, I take back my review of the last chapter, this is far, far better.

This whole chapter was lovely! You’re a doing a wonderful job of slowly bridging Pam’s thoughts of Jim as a friend to something more. I’m so looking forward to Pam meeting Jim’s sister.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked Creed and Dwight's moments, I had a lot of fun with those. Thanks, I've been trying to bring Pam's thoughts around but without some of the major upheavals of season 2 it's been a challenge for sure. Pam meeting Jim's sister is going to be a tough one to write, but we'll see what comes out!

Thanks for your feedback!

I’m so behind on my reading, I was going to read this and head onto the next chapter without reviewing. But, I just have to say, I love that you invented a reason for Pam to bring her dog to work! Brilliant! I hope Dwight brings a goat...

Author's Response: Hey, no worries. Glad you're enjoying this. Thanks for reviewing!

Awwww. I liked this! Good job Jim on manipulating Michael, and I'm glad Pam is coming over to his place tomorrow (and I look forward to meeting Larissa!).

Author's Response:

I'm glad you enjoyed this one, I had a great time writing it. I hope not to disappoint on the non-date meet the sister front, as now we're moving out of familiar territory for me.

Thanks for reviewing!

Very cute. Nice to see some progress being made. Love that Jim is there to keep an eye on her. Also good for Pam to stand up to Angela like that. Great way to show her continuing to grow.

Looking forward to seeing how Pam and Larissa interact at movie night.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked the Angela scene, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for some Pam sass. I really enjoyed writing this chapter, so it's great to see you liked it.

I hope not to disappoint with the next one, as I am definitely outside of my writing comfort zone now!

Great chapter! Some advancements in the Jim and Pam camp

Author's Response:

Thank you! This chapter took a lot longer to put together than my usual updates, so I'm glad you liked it.

Oh, I like this chapter so much! The 'Roy problem' - resolved, the 'Dwight incident' - settled, and Pam had Thoughts About Jim. That's nice, and I'd like to see where it will go :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you appreciated this chapter, thanks for reviewing!

That feels more like early Pam. Getting embarrassed for an outburst and fairly quick to apologize. Looks like the Roy situation is dealt with. Might be some lingering frustration, but it's fading which is good to see.

Bring your dog to work day seems like a lot of fun.

Don't get to down on yourself Pam. Granted she's still got Jim squarely pegged in the friendzone right now, but I sense that might start to change soon. Looking forward to it when that happens.

Author's Response:

Great, I'm glad you think that this is more in-line for season 1/2 Pam, I was looking to scale it back a little after you pointed that out last time.

Roy should indeed be riding off into the sunset, that's the hope anyway.

I am really looking forward to writing the pet day chapter tomorrow, it should be a lot of fun.

Pam'll get there eventually, we just have to believe in her!

Thanks for reviewing, I always look forward to hearing from you!

Oh, anti-hump day sounds so very Michael, and I'm looking forward to it. Especially with Nikita in the house! I wonder if Angela will bring a cat...

Author's Response:

Glad you're looking forward to it, me too. Angela... who said she'd only bring one? I actually don't know yet. We'll see how much chaos I can handle when I draft my plot points tomorrow morning.

'Pam got up from her desk determined to replace the disappointment on Jim's face with a stupid lopsided grin.'
That line made me 'awww' :)
Also, poor Toby. Maybe, I'm just too 'Toby sensitive,' but I caught there a hint... or it's just me seeing what I wanted to see?
Also, Dwight being Dwight. Perhaps, I get used to fanon 'friendly Dwight' too much and forgot that he could be insensitive and harsh :(
The chapter is lovely, and I'd like to see what happens next!

Author's Response:

Glad I got an 'aww'! Thanks!

Definitely a Toby hint dropped there, good on you for picking up on it.

Dwight could be quite harsh and insensitive at times on the show, but hopefully Pam and Dwight will be able to make amends and friendly-Dwight can make an appearance.

Thanks for reviewing! I've just started writing the next chapter, so hopefully it'll be out later give or take 2-7 hours.

This chapter was lovely what with Jim encouraging Pam, both gently and then a little not so gently. And then, Toby being kind of sweetly supportive in his own way. Dwight was so very Dwight. I love the idea of him insulting Pam by being fat too blunt and probably not even meaning to, and then finding himself impressed by her fierce reaction. I’m really enjoying your characterization of Pam throughout this.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you enjoyed this one, I was going back and forth on a few things here, so I'm happy to see they landed well.

Thanks for reviewing!

Love this chapter! Pam is evolving so much!
She’s also been very touchy-feely with Jim, yet she doesn’t get why Roy punched him. Our girl is very much in denial. Can’t wait to read if she finally figures things out with Jim

Author's Response:

True, but Roy didn't see most of the touchy feely. My/Roy's reasoning was A) Drunk, B) Jim looks like he's moving in on "his" girl. Pam is 100% in denail, we'll see if that gets shaken soon.
