Angst then smut then more angst. Hoo boy that was a roller coaster. Lots of heavy emotions boiling around with this one. Here I was thinking that since Jim is giving her a little more time to process things, it'll turn out better for them. Especially after they head back to Jim's place and Pam is the one being forward.
The morning after though was intense. You wrote Jim being impatient really well. Not the biggest fan of him in the morning here. After a night of following her lead now he's pushing her for the quick decision. I mean I get it. After all this time, and finally having sex why wouldn't he think she's going to leave Roy. For her to not have a ready answer of course would be frustrating.
Really looking forward to the second part to see how it all turns out.

Full disclosure I added that line late, I had it mostly written and then remembered her ring and it would be messed up to wear it during all of this XD So then it was a fierce internal debate of what to write and when to write it but I’m glad the result works! Thanks for reading!

I want to blame Pam for not giving an immediate answer, I want to blame Jim for not giving her enough time, but the truth is that their reactions were as natural as only they could be. And it hurts, oh, it hurts so much! I feel like my heart broke into a thousand pieces, and though I put them together, some parts are missing. And they'll be missing until I read the update of your story.

Author's Response: Thanks for your comments! Yes as much fun as writing them hooking up was, I couldn’t help but think about what the consequences would be. They’ve both put themselves in a tough spot thanks to their impulsiveness. I hope chapter two provides the missing heart pieces!
