Ahh this was so lovely (and heartbreaking!) Especially this line: ‘She kisses him back and he thinks maybe, just maybe, she changed her mind. She can, and she will, and it’ll all be okay.’ I also love so much that it’s at the end of this moment that he loves her more, and his insight into her character and knowing that she doesn’t like hurting people - it’s so perfect, and so bittersweet.

I loved your take on how Pam doesn't like to hurt people and how Jim loves that about her. That was so brilliantly insightful and it killed me.

To get Jim's thoughts for this moment is a treasure. It's one of the classic JAM moments and you did it proud. How much he want her to just stay there forever but knowing she can't. At the same time knowing he'll treasure this moment forever. All of it wrapped up in this brief but touching chapter really well.

But seriously for such a short chapter, this was amazing. Pam sneaking glances at him. The bemused expression that I'm sure came across his face. The fact they decided to join forces against the evils of boredom and annoyance in the office. All just wonderful.

You had me pretty much with the title and the summary - yes please to loads more of this! :D This one was so lovely, I really liked the combining the hot sauce with the golf pencil, this was such a sweet look into early Jim and Pam. (Also loving their exasperation with Michael's 'put it in the hole' jokes, because obviously, and Dwight getting thrown by Jim's up to code comment). And the last line is just perfection!

I am an endless sucker for this kind of story. Give me all of the takes of the unseen hits of Jim and Pam's past please. Like crack and/or scrapbooking. And this was super cute. Early smitten Jim falling for Pam's infamous tongue-between-the-teeth smile, and this is a very charming version of the hot sauce story, complete with Jim as hero. Adorable to think he was saving things that early in their history.
I also liked that Michael's habit of ruining fun things for Pam starts early and at this point it doesn't even occur to her to be annoyed, really. Just part of life. The beginnings of her arc.
More please.

This is super cute. Really wonderful prior to the cameras friendship type stuff. Well for at least one of them. I'm sure Pam is very much enjoying Friend Jim, while I'm-falling-more-and-more-in-love-with-Pam Jim is just happy for anything he can get.
To combine the hot sauce and the mini-golf was also a ton of fun. Loved it.
