These two are just magic together… and I love that they are sharing their souls with each other… this time on Jim’s part. I love the reveal of Pam’s secret too. Can’t wait to see her birthday present and their “drinks thing” where Pam meets Jim’s people…. I also adore the details and live for the end of the chapter pics! So fun to have that visual! TBH I actually can’t (completely) be mad at
Karen for trashing Jim’s relationship with Katy because that freed him up to be with Pam.

I do think Jim was being naive by hanging out with Karen because it allowed Karen to fake a relationship with him. The office sex was hot. However, I’m a little disappointed that Pam isn’t willing to do it in her own office. I would love to see JAM get caught by Cathy
and her absolute jealousy. 😈

Absolutely, Jim was naive hete, but we know season 3 Jim was a bit of a tool. He’s back to his normal wonderful self though, so no need to worry!

Pam had a glass office 🤣🤣 might be a little tricky for them to do it there!! Don’t worry, Cathy will still be storing up lots of trouble for our favourite couple.

This was a great chapter. I loved the opening scene with Pam feeling bad she missed midnight and the little joke about Jim's morning energy.

Wow, Pam is ballsy! It was so fun to read her changing in the bathroom and then panicking as she rides the elevator. All for a good cause, of course.

The one thing I would say is that I think Cathy would make more sense as the Katy/Jim relationship wrecker. It's not chronological, but in my opinion, Karen isn't quite evil enough to create all that fake evidence. Loved it all otherwise!

So with the whole Karen thing, I was actually going to leave an end note about her, but end deleting it. I'll add it to the start of next chapter. I know she comes across as a little crazy and more like Cathy might be, but she's not meant to be crazy as such, just more desperate like she is in canon. i.e. wanting to stay with Jim even though he had feelings for Pam (I NEVER understood why she stayed with him after that revelation), the obvious displays of affection to Jim in front of Pam, the deleted scene of her trying to remove Pam's art flyer. But also, season 3 Jim was awful, using Karen as a shield and distraction from Pam, so similar here in using her that was from missing Katy. Hope that makes her character here a bit more understandable and a bit less OOC than she may have been. Also, just Karen. YUCK.

So first off, I'm loving the boost in confidence Pam is getting here. Clearly Jim is bringing out the best in her and it's great to see. Changing her title to CEO is of course a great way to see that. Her banter with Jim about it was also a lot of fun. The other way I see that is that she confronts Cathy about the package. To be clear, yes Pam you can fire her for failure to the package. What if's an important piece of business mail? Part of being the boss means laying down the law from time to time. That deserves a reprimand at the very least. Even more so because Cathy seems to be stealing personal packages which is just as bad. Time to be Boss Lady Pam methinks.

Aww Jim you big softie, getting her the right so soon. I mean you're not wrong, but at the same time yeah, you're gone for her. Nice cameo with the Prince family too. Also like others I'm quite curious to know what happened with the whole Karen/Katy thing. And why David is warning Jim to talk to Pam about it soon lest history repeat itself. Makes one curious.

Lots of fun with the Halpert dinner. His brothers felt very in character as did Betsy and Larissa. Gerald is a little interesting. We don't really get a lot about him from canon, so it leaves an open canvas in fic. Clearly, he's used to putting the pressure on Jim, but at the same time he also cares for his son. Makes for an interesting dynamic for sure.

And of course, I would be remiss if I didn't mention this last part. Does this Gerald also have his own whisky collection back at home? Thus, asking for a bottle of Blue Label? Kind of fun to read that for sure. Great job as always.

Yes, Pam, you absolutely can fire you front desk person for attempting to steal your package. Get wrecked, Cathy. Also, get wrecked, Ryan. Also, get wrecked, Helene. Pam has a very high percentage of people in her life who are The Worst. Which is such a sharp contrast from Jim, whose people are mostly pretty awesome. Poor Pam.

This is a fun working in of Jim's uber-fast engagement ring purchase... and I'm glad to see the Princes landed on their feet.

Lol at Larisa immediately throwing Jim under the bus. And I like the dynamic between him and his dad, feels worth exploring...

Okay so Cathy is creepy. Does actually she think that Jim would want to see her in the bra and panties?
I am now dying to know what Karen did to Jim/Katie!
Just like Jim I’m also surprised that his dad hugged him. Jim’s dad came off at being cold and distant towards Jim, which I think adds another layer
to Jim’s personality, and depth. Pam’s mom is annoying.
Pam is right that her mom is projecting her hate towards Pam’s dad onto Jim. I love the ring Jim got for Pam. I hope that Cathy doesn’t get her hands on it.

Yeah this is a pretty appropriate use for the JIF warning lmao. I love it when they just spend time talking to each other like they do here, so that was really nice to read, even if things get a little heavy. Also Penny the Penguin totally reminds me of Hugsy from Friends, so I'm dying to know more of that story!

Feels like they're really starting to connect here. In more ways than one ;). As much fun as they're having physically what's just as good is that emotionally they're also growing closer. Jim tracking her favorite things and just sending them to her for example. Actions speak louder than words and Jim is proving he's more than just words. He's showing her by action he pays attention to her, values her, listens to her. In short he's meeting her emotional needs. Love that Pam is responding so well to it. Same with talking about her project. They're talking as equals. He's not talking down to her but rather using his own experience to help her out. Loved it.

Of course there's the little hiccup when she snaps at him. Good for Jim for backing off a little but also being reassuring. Thus when she calms down she finds she can trust him with more personal issues. Like she said to Izzy, she's found something special and they're both laying down the foundations to make it last.

Of course, all the bra ripping and going after each other all over the penthouse is great fun to read too.

I'm finally getting caught up on this and holy crap I missed so much! We're getting right to the good stuff, I like it. I LOVE how you had Jim touch Pam's neck like that. Ugh, that made me melt. Should be really interesting to see what's in store for them!

Kelly of course has a nose for this sort of thing and no filter. Love that you worked in Pam's infamous pink sweater. And Kevin and Oscar are hilarious here.

If Ryan wasn't so awful, I'd feel bad for him here. Jim is setting a high bar to clear.

They are adorably smitten here. Really fun to read. And I think you captured that post-first night together awkwardness well. And also drunk Pam. Who is amazing.

Really interesting how they react to the morning after. Pam comes back into the office wearing what she was before and Kelly immediately knows exactly why. That really tracks for Kelly too. Angela, wow, you may want to learn some tact, especially if you're borderline insulting someone in front of your boss. Still it rings true for her. I do wonder what if anything will happen with Cathy though. She seemed quite taken with Jim as well and now for her to find out Pam is seeing him? Could be interesting.

Looks like Pam's doing pretty well for herself too based on those apartment and clothing pics. Sounds good. A glimmer of her backstory as well. Have there been a few dating instances that kind of discouraged her from the whole dating scene for a while? Remains to be seen for sure.

What's a lot of fun is that even with Jim sweeping her off her feet, once the layers are peeled back it feels like he's the same dorky Jim we know and love. I really like that. This Jim may be rolling in money and has the confidence to pull it off, but here with Pam, he's the great guy we know he is.

You do have to feel for the guy when it comes him opening up about his father. That it gave him the drive to be where he is shows he's an optimist for sure though. I also love that here on their second date he's already comfortable opening up to Pam. They're getting past surface level things and starting to go deeper in their relationship.

Also a little spunk there from Pam to get Jim back to her place. I mean she did fix it up all nice for him after all. It would be a shame for all that effort to go to waste. Looking forward to more as always.

My take on both Jim and Pam for this one is that they’re definitely the same people, but they’ve just got more confidence and have realised their dreams, and most importantly are both single!!! before they found each other. I can’t be doing with any angst hahah!!

They’ve both got some backstories to explore, so hopefully you’ll enjoy what you’ve got to discover!
