I knew who Pam’s teacher was before I even saw the words Mr. Scott! He would probably be a great elementary teacher… the kids would love him! Funny callbacks to Michael hitting on Helene, then saying she’s too old for him! Sweet Pam definitely has some good stories to share at dinner with her family from that classroom! There’s a hopefulness in this chapter that I definitely feel in your writing! Whether it came from Michael’s interactions with his parrot or not, hopefully it gets Pam on the right track to finding her words!! Great chapter!

Oh Michael. You eccentric, uncouth, caring, heart-of-gold fool. Sometimes it's not the voice of reason that gives us an insight as to where we need to go. Great use of Michael to bring that out. Now onwards to a new chapter!
