Oh Mr. Scott… what a sweet teacher.. and then he goes ahead in true Michael fashion oversteps both in role and in subject matter his first graders… on the other hand, wouldn’t it be fascinating to have The Classroom? Mr. Scott as first grade teacher with Jim, Pam, and Dwight as students?? Oh wait… you’re writing that!!! lol. And then we end with this sweet swing imagery which, to me, everything about Jim and Pam. Just darling! Thanks for bringing me back to old school days with my brand new school supplies— I could totally feel Pam’s heart beating with pride as she pulled out her new sketchbook for Jim— her WORDS!!! Thanks again!

Dwight ranting while Jim eats Jello is always a ton of fun. Also that Jim stands up and gets more of the attention on himself to deflect any real or imagined anxiety from Pam is just a perfect low key support move. Lets Pam just enjoy being the back-up partner here.

Love that Penny is also looking out for her big sister. Now that there's something they can all kind of grab hold with Pam. Finally a way in and it feels like those who do love and support Pam want to encourage this as much as possible. Nice little metaphor with the swings there at the end too.
