LoveFool, this is just about my favorite type of story, one told from the observer's point of view.  This was such fun to read--especially since this is my niece, Lauren Elizabeth's b-day  :)  It really warms my heart to envision this happy home that you described so well.

Well, I know that one was for the moms but I thought it was a nice gift for we dads as well.  Jill's "pwize" confusion was super-adorable, and your Jim-Pam dialogue was stellar and as always.  Great stuff.

Absolutely adorable, LoveFool--a perfect Mothers Day treat.  The image of them in a cozy cocoon, whispering, is so lovely, and the card was such a sweet idea.

Jill... Pam's own mini-me.

You have to know how much I love this little family.

You do great work LoveFool!

That sounds like something I would do for my mom.Today I drew her the most awful looking flower card and wrote happy mother's day on it. Being the good mom she is, she enjoyed it. She laughed at it also, but then again, so did I.

Oh this is so dang sweet it should come with a glass of milk. I especially loved this: "So I go into her room last night and she's talking to that Daisy I brought home...and she's saying something like, "Hey...Pwize...G'nite...Pwize."

That was very well done. I love how Jim was doing his best, trying to take care of both of his girls while dealing with his own feelings. The end was the best, not only did Jilly have a hard time falling asleep without seeing her mommy, mommy needed her baby to fall asleep as well. Really well done.

Aww.  Sniff, sniff.  This was sad. :(  But I loved how you had Jim struggling to deal in a different (but no less real way) than Pam.  Excellent job.

And Jilly's the cutest - as always!

sad.. but i liked seeing this vulnerability in the pam/jim relationship. You did a fantastic job portraying what it's like for parents going through a miscarriage, really, really great job!

You already know (more than you ever probably wanted to know ;-) how I feel about this. (Love what you did with the ending, btw.) All too often fics depict Jim the Obscure and Pam Karenina, so I love how you balanced real-life angst (the kind a character like Pam would experience, not the hyper-self-consciously 'edgy' sort) with the humor and love and hopefulness that are essential elements of the show. Well done!

So well done!  I love Jim's interactions with his girls.  He's so protective of them.  I'm glad you've picked up this story again.

It's true, come to think of it, you do write good angst--besides this chapter, "Breakable" and chapter 4 of Baby Talk come to mind.  I'm not usually much of an angst fan; writing something obviously sad is the cheapest and easiest way to have an emotional impact on the reader and I think many authors sort of abuse it.  The realism and beauty of this, though, overwhelms me.  The love and humor in Jim's interaction with Jill coexisting with the sense of grief and anxiety is amazing, and you combine them so perfectly.  And, I loved loved loved the ending.  Absolutely perfect.  Fantastic work.

While this chapter completely and UTTERLY broke my heart (well done, by the way!) I'm glad to see a bit of angst back in this story. You write angst very well! The image of Pam curled up next to Jill made me want to cry. So glad you're updating this story! Keep it up!

Beautiful job, LoveFool.  Yes, it was sad, but very heartfelt and realistic.

Oh, this is made of win. I love Kelly as a babysitter (bmw - alphabet car...bwahahahahaahaha). You get the dynamic just right, and the callback to Fun Run was priceless. Blushing Jim is adorable.

Handled a tough subject really well. :( So sad.

I seriously think you could market this fic as a mood enhancing drug. The Jilly/Jim dynamic is so delicious and believable - and his love for Pam oozes from how enthralled he is with their little girl. That Fun Run moment at the end was perfect - your words made me picture it exactly, as I read. This is pure love.

Author's Response: Thanks Miss Colette.  You know, sometimes I have to remind myself to actually include Pam in the story because I just love writing Jim with his daughter...just the idea of that is so freaking adorable to me I can't stand it.  I'm glad those scenes are as delicious for you as they are for me!

Jill needs a new sibling. I mean, or else its totally stupid of them to have bought that house. Unless they would give Jill 3 bedrooms (wait that would be kind of cool...)

Author's Response: hahaha. I'm quite sure Jilly-Bean would enjoy all those rooms!
