I have something either very weird/sad to admit or something that will tickle you as much as it did me. Since this fic started I have given birth to my own little 'bean'.

And my precious sunshine of my life daughter in the six weeks she has lived outside the womb has spent some quality time screaming her little head off. My husband and I think she should be an opera singer with that lung power. Anyway the other night she was in a mood and my husband and I just looked at eachother and started laughing, full on cracking up. So I said to Daddy after the three of us had calmed down a similar experince happened to a friend of mine, but I couldn't remember hich friend. Then this morning I remembered it was my friend Jim in letter to his wife Pam. What I think I'm trying to say is even though they were fictional it was comforting to think of being in the foxhole with some really good friends.

And I so want my daughter to like Jill stealing and all...

Thanks for that moment of comfort....

-tizzy

Alright, now I'm done but seriously "Daycare" was hysterical. I was cracking up. The next time I want something that belongs to someone else I'm just gonna try to look really innocent, say "whoa whoas?" and then run. Run like I'm afraid of monkies. Great Stuff!

I've been bouncing around this site all weekend and this is the story that made me register. BRILLIANT! This chapter (the one with Jim's journals entries) is the best thing ever. It is obvious that though I am years from having a baby myself, I will have to write he or she a journal. Kudos!

So I was sitting at my computer, bored. Nothing new. So I was thinking about looking for a good fic, you know, an old, possibly AU, multi chapter fic. Then I remembered Baby Jill! I just read the entire thing again, and wow...

I'm hoping for an update soon!

This just keeps getting better and better. This is hands down my favorite baby fic. you are so creative and capture the characters perfectly. Jim would so be that dad that is impressed by her skills. :) i love this. you're incredible!

Aww, we call the HooBabies 'bean', too!  And isn't it always the case that they demonstrate some new quirk of behavior just when it is most important for them to behave like little angels.  Love the narrative from Jim's POV, too.

OMG! That was me as a child LOL! I swear, I hear horror stories from my mom all the time, I used to steal everything. Very Cute, I like how you wrote it entirely from Jim's point of view. He would make a great dad (if he wasn't fictional :P)

new baby talk brought me out of my self induced fanfic hiatus. well worth it, i must say!

Yes, people relying on other people than grandmas is how i make my living. i would so babysit for them for free... is there a way to make a living babysitting for fictional characters super fictional children? except for the fact I told them I would babysit for free... darnit. I think there is a flaw in my plan.
Wow, all of this and I am only two paragraphs in!

My little dude won't share with me either. Haha. I am like "no, let me play with the legos also!" he's two. But hes adorable. So I don't mind (much).... but I wanna play. But, he is really only playing with either me or parents. So yeah.

And cheerios are gold. I ate some this morning. I did not steal them from a baby. I can feel proud of that.

OMG, that is so cute. She feeds the TV. I am in love with this fictional baby you've created. I need to go find my kiddos, make them do something cute....But kids know it. I swear, they know it. Little dude, its like, he does something bad, and then he does a sad face and just goes "hug? hug" and its so hard not to hug him even when you know he just threw a toy at you and you can't be nice to him because he has to learn that throwing toys is wrong, but he is standing there saying hug!

OMG, are they like that at day care centers? Because seriously. I know that it is difficult the first day, especially with an only child. I except the kid to be fussy and a few things like that, at least for the first few times. Slowly let the kid warm up to you!
Shesh, no wonder parents hire me.

So cute. I love love love this story. Cute babies will be the death of me.

You have no idea how happy I was to see this update in my Inbox!  I love the little family you created and Jill's conartist status is HILARIOUS--I could just see Jim standing back in awe...and horror...but mostly awe and passing off blame onto that Wolfie kid.  So Funny!  I hope to see more soon!

I just re-read this story yesterday because I was missing it.  So I don't have to tell you how excited I was to see an update this morning, and what a lovely, fun chapter it was.  Jim is definitely a goner where Jill is concerned and it is great!  Looking forward to more.  Soon, I hope ;)

Oh, JIM!  So besotted with The Bean that he can't see straight!  I loved that she knows what Jim 1 is thinking and oh, yeah, she's got that Jim wrapped.  How long is she going to be "cut off" (hilarious) from her Cheerios?  Two minutes?  YAY for you and something new!

Yay!  I was so happy to see this updated!

I voted for your story for March Madness.  I just love every chapter.  It is so authentic, both in regards to parenting and to the characters of Jim and Pam.

This chapter was hilarious!  Fave line:

She's a genius who lives by a code: Be polite...Don't be a fool.

Oh, and the thought of Jim saying "Whoh-woahs"?  Dreamy.

Thanks for updating!

Jim as Jill's accomplice in crime - he would so be co-conspirator dad and she'd have him pegged before she could tie her shoes. This: She's a genius who lives by a code: Be polite...Don't be a fool made me laugh out loud, as did several other lines (she's using her words at least - ha!)

Such a treat - but, then again, you probably have me pegged and already knew that ;-)

PS I know lots of adults who still have boundary issues with other peoples woah-woahs, so I think Jill will be just fine.

So, I'm thinking the fact that Jim calls Jill "Bean" may be the cutest thing ever.

Also, I'm thinking you've really got a hold on your readers when they get as excited for new chapters of your story as they do for new episodes of the actual show. Cuz that just happened. With me.
