Damn, laundry day is fun!
This is a great story, and seems like it could happen. I love the friendship that exists between Jim and Toby.

"I don’t know. I feel like I’m always redacting something when it comes to her.” = my heart breaks a little.

Nice job!

I loved this! It's so sad how it ended. I loved how you put some background into Toby's experience, it just made it even easier to have sympathy for him. You used great detail. Great job!

It's so funny, because just yesterday I was asking around TWoP for Jim/Toby fics and even though some people came up with a couple of great ones, this is probably my favorite that I've read so far.

I love the story of Toby's first time kissing a man.  It's very real and sad and painful.  Jim's (and Toby's) loneliness and desperation is very palpable throughout the entire thing.

Amazing, this is.

Really?  Gosh, I have such TWoP catching up to do...it's a good thing I let myself be convinced to post this, then.  :)

Thank you for the review...your reviews are always so thoughtful.

I have such love for Jim/Toby, and I loved the context that you set with their discussion at the beginning.  Could totally see Jim going to Toby for advice and solace and to escape his own lonliness.  And the making out against the washing machine was wonderfully hot, desperate, and fleeting.  And hot.

And oh gosh, Toby at the end??   Crushed me.  In a good way.

Author's Response: Thank you!  The thought of the two of them making out against a washing machine was too hot to pass up.  :)
