I don't know how I missed this originally, but I'm glad to have found it tonight. I love the 50's - the manners, the morals, the seeming innocence of life back then. And so far I really like 50's Roy, too.

I'm glad you know what that movie is, with that stupid "Disturbia" movie out everyone seemed to forget about the original...and it came out in August '54 so it worked well.

I actually registered here just so I could comment on this story. I used to be totally not into AU stories and (surprise, surprise) Hope totally turned me - which is why I gave this story a chance...and am totally hooked. Keep it up!

I just realized I hadn't reviewed this - gah! Sorry! Again - you have a good premise here - I think these two do work well in different time periods because they're basically decent people who care for one another. This is a nice start, and having had a sneak preview of the next chapter, I'm looking forward to your progression!
